You're totally right about HP vs Mod+ I'm loving all the Mod+ results I've seen. I'm having a really hard time deciding between smooth and textured Sientras. Doc likes textured, I just want to make sure they drop for the natural slope. Have a while til October, so luckily no rush to figure it out. Really great results on you.

Do you know if your doctor lowered your crease?
January 14, 2014
I honestly don't know. My best guess is yes! I'll ask my surgeon then get back in a message. :D

Please :) If he says he didn't could you ask him what was your measurements between crease and nipple before your BA. Thank you so much

Which make of implant do you have? Sientra? You're my number 1 wish pic btw!

I have Mentor implants. Thank you for the compliment!

I have been debating the mod plus vs hp with my husband, and finally have a great example of a small framed woman with mod plus! Thank you for sharing. How do you like the feel of the gummy bear? And which brand was it? (I don't know if there is more than one brand that uses that kind). Thank you again! Hope you're doing well.
February 15, 2014
Thank you! I cannot stress enough to NEVER get high profile! I spent a vast amount of time researching and meeting women who have them. I have mentor brand 350cc size. I absolutely love the look and feel of them. I had no idea such results were possible especially since I had nothing to work with. I looked at your photo and your upper body looks very close to mine post-op. A good way to know if you really want them is this..."If you're not 100% ready, you're not ready at all". I literally live by this statement! I hope you're doing well also; and you're very welcome! :)

Hi craveChaos....my doc is "big" on the HP....was one time talking UHP....I was scared would look like party hats! Why don't u like the HP?
February 15, 2014
Did you end up getting them? :) I suppose it's just preference of how you'd like to look. I have never encountered a woman with HP implants that looked natural. That's why I don't prefer them. They bulge whether standing up or laying flat with that weird roundness that I find unappealing... If I had ever seen a pair that looked natural I would feel differently! :D

I am just going to reply to you both here- onedimsim, that party hats remark had me laughing so hard!! craveschaos, thank you for your response. I love that quote. I can totally vibe with that. I am ready in terms of understanding the pros and cons of elective surgery... I am just terribly indecisive about what I am trying to achieve. It seems like the mod plus is always the most appealing to me, but you're the first girl my size that I have found. There's another RealSelf girl who is just a smidge taller that mentions her doctor warned MP would give her too much side-boob. Do you feel like that is an issue? I am just trying to have an idea of whether this is a true assessment of her PS... and one more thing, I know you mentioned you enjoy the feel of them, I am wondering if you can squeeze them like the memory gel. I have seen YouTube videos where the doctors are showing how to do massages and with the memory gel they are extremely squishy. Do you feel any resistance with the firmer texture of the gummy kind or is it not much different? Again, thank you in aiding my research!

I have 350cc ultra high profile mentor silicone implants and only reason I think they won't have that party hat bulge is becoz I had a lift and implant and under the muscle so I had a lot of tissue to work with and cover it, I'm insanely happy and it's only been 2weeks. But I have noticed u can look for examples of the same size and make and on most people u can get very different results some looking smaller some bigger etc. so it's important to remember everyone's body reacts different and surgeons use different techniques with different outcomes :)

Wow very very nice. I will also be having surgery in January and seriously thinking of moderate profile, I like their look much better. Are they placed under the muscle? What brand are they? How long was your recovery? Could you post more pictures of the incision?
December 11, 2013
I chose moderate-plus profile places under the muscle. They are Mentor brand. Everything becomes easier around two/the weeks. This really is the most crucial time during healing. You have to do as little as possible or you can seriously damage your chances of having great results!! I will definitely post pictures of the incision. The incision remains pink and raised for the first year, then begins to fade.

Thank you so much. I'm planning to take a month off since I work in a really really busy restaurant. I will be waiting on those pictures. Thank you again you look awesome.
December 11, 2013
wow your results are amazing!!! if u could and dont mind would u post a pic from the side, im still undecided about moderate, moderate plus or high profile
December 11, 2013
Yes, I will upload photos from the side. I have some trouble uploading properly, I wish I could put all of my photos together and date them! NEVER EVER get high profile. I know enough women who have them now and HATE them. High-profile hardly ever creates a natural look. I chose moderate-plus!
December 11, 2013
thank you thats so helpful!!! ok awesome thank u, i really like having the profile stand out as opposed to being flat but dont want them looking unnatural, thank u so much!! =)

How long did it take for your upper pole to smooth out? Mine are still so high almost three months out. Had mentor moderate plus profile too. Thanks!!
February 8, 2014
Honestly, I think they are still dropping. I noticed them smoothing out after two months. It takes up to a year to see final results. I am a little more than 5 months post-op. I had an appointment two weeks ago and my doctor told me that they will still soften quite a bit! I'm excited!
