I am extremely happy with the results so far for my upper eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) I am now 26 days post op. The surgery was done under local anthestic which was very nervous about - but I felt safe and confident in Doctor Armani and everything went smoothly. The procedure took I believe around 45-mins to an hour and then I had to stay a further 2 hours with my eyes fully bandaged before being released from the hospital. I had some pain killers which helped and overall only had discomfort from the tape over the stitches which after 2-3 days were just annoying as it felt like something was pushing down on your eyes - but not un-bearable and so worth it in the long run. The stitches were removed on day 7 - which was a relief and as you will see from the photos you can not even see the stitches just the end of the stitch at the corner of each eye. I took arnica for 2 weeks prior and also 7 days post op. The obvious bruises became apparent day 4 and the worst of it was day 7. I did go out on the evening the stitches were removed with the use of concealer and foundation and no-one noticed it although there was still a little visible bruising with make up on under my left eye. There is still a slight bruise (small dot on my upper eyelid) still and the scar line where the lids were cut. I believe this may take 1-3 months to be not present. It is only obvious if I have no make up on and close my eyes otherwise no one would know the difference. I will try and remember to post some updated photos in 1-2 months time. Hope this helps anyone who is considering this surgery.

Dr Armani was wonderful. She was very sweet, professional and attentive. All my concerns and questions were answerered and she explained the procedure and re-assured me. I am very happy with the results. As she works from the hospital I rated 'phone and email responsiveness' as only 3 stars as it is difficult to get directly in touch with the Doctor and some of the messages were not passed on as you need to contact the main hospital number. I had also sent an email to the hospital and there was no response. Overall I highly recommend the hospital. The athestics reception staff Daniela is very warm welcoming, professional and helpful.
