I recently scheduled my breast lift with implants for 12/29 and am super excited! A little about me: I'm 42 with 3 kiddos. I'm a little shy of 5'8" and am currently 170lbs. When I was in my early 20's, I was a B cup, then gained 80lbs and kept it on for a good 10 years. Between that and breastfeeding for several years, my breasts grew a lot! After my 3rd child, I lost over 80 lbs. At my goal weight (155-ish) I was professionally bra sized while still breastfeeding my youngest at the time, and measured 32FF - crazy! I am currently 34DD/36D although I am pretty lopsided - at least a cup size difference. I am really looking forward to evening my breasts up, reducing my aureola size, and lifting/filling them both up. I don't necessarily want to go much bigger, but don't want to appear smaller in tops, either. My left (bigger) breast measured 14cm, whereas my right breast measured 12cm. My PS plans to go with 13cm implants, and will bring in a range from 325cc-405cc. I know my right will need a larger implant to even them out, and my biggest worry is making sure I go big enough but not TOO big where it looks too much like I'm walking around with fake boobs. I go to the gym 3-5 times a week and am hoping my current fitness level will aide in a smooth (as possible) recovery.

I figured I would take some "before" pics... oh man, these are rough to look at! I knew I was lopsided but this really shows how extreme it is. My smaller size measures 12cm wide while my larger size measures 14cm wide. My PS is going with 13cm implants, right in the middle. I've been leaning for the larger 405cc implant he will be bringing in (for the smaller side) but want to make sure that won't look too "big and fake." I have a long torso but don't know if that really has an effect on how they ultimately end up looking. His range will be between 325-405cc implants he will have to work with and determine what looks best. I'm sure there will be a big difference in size of implants he will use for each breast, and I think he will actually remove some tissue from my larger side to help balance them out and keep them looking more similar.

Thank you! I'm on post-op day 2 and feel great! Still keeping up on my meds but plan to slowly lower the amount and stretch out the time.

Day of treatment

On the Other Side now! :)

Today was surgery day for me! My surgeon had marked me up yesterday and today I was scheduled to arrive at 12:15pm for a 1:45pm surgery time. Turns out the Dr was running ahead of time so when I get there I was immediately prepped and was probably in surgery by 1pm. They had me in a bed, wheeled me back and gave me some relaxing cocktail in my IV. I remember scooting onto the table in surgery and asking if they listen to music, then I was out and woke up in what felt like a blink of an eye. They said I came out of the meds pretty fast, which is good. I ended up with 405cc's on my right side and 300cc's on my left - I knew I was lopsided but oh my! They are Natrelle Inspira silicone implants under the muscle. Doctor said I should be a DD, which was my goal. Fingers crossed!

They put a patch for nausea behind my ear and said it was good for up to 3 days. That, plus the Emend tablet I took around 11:30am before surgery, has really helped since I've had virtually no nausea (knock on wood). I do have a nausea med Rx I can take if I do end up feeling it later on.

I've been warned tomorrow will be the worst of it, so I am super keeping up on my pain pills and muscle relaxers. My husband has been great. I've already had to pee a few times so nice 5pm (it's 10pm here) so that's a good thing.

I've attached some pics of my bandaged chest - not taking anything off until I shower in a couple days!

Thanks for adding your photos! Looking good so far :) Do you think the nausea patch has helped?

I think it absolutely helped - I never needed a single nausea pill from the prescription I was given...never felt sick whastsover, and I get car sick a lot!
