Healing up

I was finally able to take the white tape off of my incisions today. I'm still bleeding a tiny bit but the nurse said that's nornal. My left boob has been bothering more than it was. I'm left handed and most of the pain I have been having has been on this side. This implant was also sitting up higher so I have been pushing it down. My left side has been more swollen and numb and I have bad nipple pain even the shower water hurts at times. The nurse said to keep doing the massages and keep an eye out for the implant to get to large or hard. Does anyone have experience with the numbness and swelling after things seemed to be professing well? I was off of pain meds after 3 days 4 nights but now I have been taking Advil the last 3 days because of the pain. It's a dull ache almost like a stretching with a bruise that you can see.

First off I wanted to thank everyone who has posted on this website- it helped me to determine a size I liked and get more details on the surgery and healing process. I am a mom of two and I breasfed very minimally with my first and my second wouldn't at all. I have been wearing a 32c body by Victoria's Secret bra for years but I didn't fill it very well. After I had my son my bra size was a 32dd and I had stretch marks. I had been wanting an augmentation since before kids but I do not handle pain very well or needles. I tired on Mod + 375 and 400 at my consult appointment and I liked the way they looked. My PS recommended HP since my body frame is narrow and thin. I am 5'2 and weigh 115 pounds. He said the HP would fill in the extra skin left from the pregnancies. At my pre-op appt we narrowed the sizing down to 450cc-475cc (my husband of course www pushing for the 475) the implants I got are Natrelle silicone (gummy bear). For the week in between my pre op and surgery I was back and forth between sizes and driving myself crazy. My gut kept telling me the 475 would be to big on me. The morning of my surgery my doctor agreed with me and we went ahead with the 450cc on both sides. Of course both sides measured differently but the PS felt that putting in two different size implants would allow this to be noticed more. So far the pain is manageable the surgery day wasn't to bad l. Yesterday was definelty my worst day lots of pain and pressure and today is moderate again. I am on Norco and they are making me feel like my skin is crawling so we will be switching pain killers tomorrow.
