UPDATED FROM Jenbirdy

1 month update with pictures from week 2 and 3

$5,200
Hello, so I took pictures of my boobs every week but did not post any update...
Everything is doing well. Week 2 was still hurting when coughing and sneezing. That pain was gone on week 3. My nipples are still very sensitive. As instructed by my surgeon, I am applying Vitamin E oil on my breast. I bought a random brand at Trader Joe's. I apply on my breast and scar morning and evening. I have not bought the scar cream yet.
I have been massaging since day 8 post op. I am wearing soft cup bras everyday.
I feel like one breast is still higher than the other. I can tell by looking at the top of the breast.
I will always have one breast bigger than the other. This is the way I looked before so no big deal.
I am happy with the size. I decided at the last minute to go 1 size up after reading so many women wishing they would have gone bigger. I think they are perfect for me and I would not go bigger.
I did go one time to the trade mill last week at speed 3.9, inclination 5 for 35 minutes. After that my boobs started to feel sore. I can't do a lot. Last time I started to run because it's started to rain but had to stop right away. I felt immediately a pain so I just walked. I will have to be patient and take care of my curves when i am ready.
Nights are a big challenge though. I don't feel my breast anymore during the day but at night, for some reason, I still feel something and that wake me up several times each night. I feel like my breasts are hard so I need to sit and wait a minute before they become softer. And again all night long. I still sleep on my back (i am a stomach sleeper). I can't sleep on my side, it's still uncomfortable.
I am just wondering if this is the same scenario for you guys and when you were able to sleep through the night. Young boobs are as annoying as small babies at night lol

Other than that, life is good. I remember reading some comments about being in love with their boobs. Well, that happened to me too :)

Hi, how is your recovery now? Have you been able to get back to running?
Your breasts are gorgeous. An inspiration! THANKS for sharing your journry.
Your height and weight mirrors mine. I would love to know how things have settled. Please post an update and pictures soon. :-) your results look really good. It's great seeing the finished BA on women with same "before" body type. Happy Healing.
UPDATED FROM Jenbirdy

1 week post op

Had my 1 week check up yesterday. Everything is going smoothly so far. I am supposed to keep the strap at night this week but I can't it kills my back.
They showed me how to massage the boobs. It's not a very good feeling but it should get better with the time.
I went back to work on Wednesday, so 6 days post op. I felt tired and dizzy around noon. But now it's back to normal.
I am still sleeping on my back and those past 3 nights, I woke up 3-4 times because my boobs were so sore. So I just sit for a minute and then go back to sleep until it starts again.
Yesterday after massaging, I slept really better!

My boobs still feel hard and tight but now I feel comfortable touching them. I don't even look at my scare, it freaks me out, even touching it. I leave this to my husband. Apparently they look good. No bruises...

My nipples are kind of sensitive so I always were a bra except this evening. After my shower I decided to go without. That feels good!

Wow! They look so great! They are going to look even more fantastic after they D&F. :) congrats!
Thanks! I am being patient :)
Looking good! They change at a different. Mine are doing the same. Patience is key, although it's hard. I'm just grateful they are here!! I hope you continue to have great success with them!
I love your review updates. Great descriptions of how you're really feeling and what you're able to accomplish each day. This will give other women seeking a BA a good idea of what to expect. Congratulations...you already have great results!
I am also 5' 9', 155 lbs and using Dr. Fryer as well! Just had to comment and see how things are going? And advice for me? Surgery date is Nov. 18th, doing 360ccs on right and 400ccs on left, silicone HP. Excited and nervous!
Thank you for your message. I guess I have been lazy lately and did not post anything new. I took some pictures though every week so I will try to update later tonight. I am surprised you will get different ccs for each breast because when I ask him that option (since for me one breast is larger than the other) he said he did not do that. And now I see that one breast is bigger than the other. No big deal but I will ask the question again when I see him at my 3 month check up. To be honest, everything has been so much easier than expected. No real pain (just discomfort), tired the 1st week but better the 2nd week and after, no depression (I took my pain med at night only, maybe that helped). Nipples are still very sensitive. I started massaging 8 days post op and now I am applying morning and evening vitamin E oil on my breasts and scar. Nights are a real challenge. For some reasons, I don't feel my breast during the day anymore, but at night, they are sore so that wakes me up. Sleeping on my side is not an option, it's not comfortable. The day of the surgery was a breath. I was so preoccupied by work and leaving for 4 days that I did not have any stress. The anesthesiologist walks with you to the OR, makes you speak so you don't really realize when you fall asleep. I remember telling him before falling asleep "oh, the meds are kicking in because I can hardly find my words to answer your questions" lol then I woke up in the car on the way back. I don't remember being wheeled to the car. In terms of size, I decided to go 1 size bigger 1 week before the surgery. After reading so many times on this site "go bigger, go bigger!!!!", during the pre-op I tried one size bigger. Even if it looked bigger to what I initially imagined, I thought that since I am tall with curves, 400 cc won't look crazy one me. And I am so glad I went one size bigger because I love them! When I look down, they look small but in the mirror, they look huge to me. But we all have different perception of "looking natural", "big" or "small". I remember counting the days until the day of surgery, I could not stand the wait. I was thinking "after 7 years, just let get over with this!!!". I did not buy anything special for post-op. Camel Bak in bed was great! I bought chapstick but never used it because my lips were not dry. Before going to bed, I drank Smooth move tea so I could go to the bathroom the day after. So far so good! Everything will be fine. No need to worry because you are in good hands! Please keep me posted! Good luck for everything!!!
So with the two sizes, I have scoliosis and my chest wall protrudes farther on the right than the left. Dr. Fryer said that I should do whatever I felt best with for sizing. I tried on the same size and when I looked down, I could tell that the right came out farther. So I upped the left one size and bam...perfect! So he basically left it up to me. I'm really hoping it looks pretty symmetrical after surgery. He was very honest with me not to expect perfection, so I think I have a realistic expectation of the end result. :)
Also, in looking at your pictures they look even to me! The size difference is probably only noticeable to you. :)
When I met with him, he told me about my breasts (one was bigger than the other and honestly, I never noticed before) and he said that after surgery, I would only see this. Which is true but honestly, no big deal. Nobody's perfect :)
I think you are right. When I look at pictures from other women, they notice things that I don't even see :)
UPDATED FROM Jenbirdy

Day 3 and feeling good.

I had again a good night sleep. Sleeping upward was not as difficult as I thought. Percocet maybe helped again. Yesterday was my last day. I am just taking Ibuprofen now as well as my antibiotics to prevent infections.

Went for a short walk yesterday (3 blocks) and boobs were sore when I came back so took it easy and rested.
I also cooked dinner yesterday but let my family clean up the kitchen.

Boobs are still hard and tight. It hurts a little bit on the side but no big deal. I don't see much difference on the picture between yesterday and today though.

I went to the bathroom yesterday. No problem. I am drinking smooth move tea, maybe that helps.

I took a shower today, that felt so good! I can tell that my nipples are numb because even when I am cold, they stay the same.

I am being patient and I know it can take up to 6 months-1 year to see the final results. But so far, I am very happy!

Lookin good!! I feel the same exact way. I'm not taking anything for pain so far today. I have little muscle spasms but no pain. They are still tight but dropped a little. I wasn't told to massage...are you massaging?
Hello, no massaging yet. Maybe they will tell me at my 1 week appt. No more ibuprofen, just antibiotics since iam able to do circles with my elbows with no more pain. They still feel hight and tight especially with the strap. I release it for a while to take a break. Yesterday i walked for about 1-2 hours but then stayed in bed all day. A little effort makes me exhausted. I think this is because of the anesthesia. Otherwise, no pain. But i know it's just the beginning. Once the nerves start to connect again, new sensations will come too! I need to go bra shopping since i did not have time before. Did you buy any bras? I don't even know which ones to buy. I think i will wait before buying VS since they still need to drop a lot!!
I was told to take off the bandage 1st day post op. I was also never told to do any type of exercises. I didn't but anything yet because I have no idea what to buy. There is different pain to follow? I thought I was in the clear. When are you going back to work? I go back tomorrow. I hope I make it. I'm so bloated also. What are you doing for that?
I was told to do 6 circles with my elbow (putting my hand on my shoulder) to stretch my muscles, every hour. Day 1 was hard but today it's easy so Dr said just stop when you come to that point. After reading all the stories, I read that once the nerves start to connect again, we can feel different things like needle sting feeling...So, I am prepared in case that happens! I am supposed to go back to work on Wednesday but I said I could work from home Monday and Tuesday. I don't want to drive yet and I become tired very quickly. I am not bloated but I have been drinking Smooth Move tea. I read that on other posts so tried it. I drink 1 smooth Move and 2 green tea/day. Do you have the elastic strap? that thing is a real torture!
Thanks for your comment. I have my 1 week appoitment on Thursday so I will ask the Dr if everything looks good! When did you have your BA?
Good to know, I will check the clamp. Thanks!
Yep. We gotta watch out for each other! Who else is going to?
They look fantastic. I am also only 4 days post and they are not dropping fast enough. Can't wait to see final result. Take care.
Thank you! Yours look very nice too. I like your bra. The bra I bought is very similar to yours and so comfy.
