These reviews have been very helpful, so here goes my story! Getting a mommy makeover - dual plane breast augmentation, full tummy tuck, no muscle repair, lipo to hips

My stats :
38 years old
5' 6"
125 lbs
Slim and athletic build

Boobs - Pump it up
BWD 9 cm - not many options with how narrow I am. Decided on 295cc Mentor smooth round ultra high profile implant, dual plane to help with ptosis without getting a lift. Aiming for how I look in my normal push up bra.

Tummy - Smooth it down
The whole reason for this surgery! I want a cute belly button and to say ba-bye to that extra skin that has stuck around from pregnancy.
Doctor said I was okay not to do muscle repair. He said if I wanted a chance at getting a six pack, if he plicated the muscle, it would cover and I wouldn't be able to achieve that look later. Hopefully recovery will be a bit easier, but still planning for the absolute worst pain of my life.

Nervous and excited for my surgery in four days! I suspect I'll experience a full spectrum of emotions to come.

DIY implant rice bags sizers

xomlittle
Deciding on a size of implant is so difficult! I made these rice bag sizers and have been wearing them around for weeks in different situations, with different outfits to get an idea of what I want. I go to the grocery store, wear them around my kids, to church... Haha! They actually have been very helpful. And hopefully will be pretty similar to the actual thing! My doctor's office told me that when trying on the silicone implants, it will feel like one size smaller since I will be going under the muscle. I applied the same idea to my rice bag sizers. So, if I want the feel of 270 cc, then go with 295 cc. At my final pre op appointment, the rice sizers felt and looked pretty similar to the ones at the doctor's office, which helped me feel more confident choosing the size I did. I'm going with 295cc to get the look of 270cc!

I made them with pantyhose and short grain white rice. There are a lot of cup measurements online, but I found a weight conversion and used my food scale to make mine in different sizes following 1 ounce=30cc.

For reference, you can also use oatmeal or other grains and use these cup measurements to try.
1/8 cup rice = 30 cc
1/4 cup rice = 59 cc
1/3 cup rice = 78 cc
1/2 cup rice = 118 cc
2/3 cup rice = 156 cc
3/4 cup rice = 177 cc
1 cup rice = 236 cc

I have scoured tons of mommy makeover stories and picked up things that I might need. Put them in a roller cart and brought our recliner to the room I will be staying at. I put down a sheet so that I won't get our chair dirty.
