Three week mark!

WORTH IT$10,300
Hi!
Today is my three week mark and I had a check up today to take off my Ioban dressing. Doctor says my stitches look good. My skin is kinda dry from the dressings, but this is a raw review so dont mind it haha. Im still waiting for the stitches to dissolve, but it’ll take awhile. Yesterday, I started to have more pain on my right buttock versus my left so I brought my concerns up to the doctor and he said it could be because I am more active now and I am moving around a lot more. He’s not concerned. He also cleared me for sitting, but only on my booty pillow (which is a BBL pillow). It’s kinda hard to sit on it so I’m going to have to try and figure out the best method to sit on it. Some doctors don’t recommend or see the need of using a BBL pillow but I think its better than not using one and sitting directly on the implant already. Next appointment is in a month, but I will update this post with more pictures prior :)

Two week mark!

Hi!
Yesterday was my two week mark of surgery, and I feel okay. I went to see Dr. Nykiel and he said my incisions were looking beautiful. He changed my dressings (he uses Ioban) which hurt a lot, but definitely worth it to get a fresh new one on because it was starting to peel at the edges. I have dissolvable stitches so they’re still there.
My butt has an overall weird sensation, which I heard is normal. There is some numbing by the incision site where I cannot really feel anything there, so I addressed it to the doctor and he said it was normal. The rest of my butt feels okay, still pretty hard and hopefully will soften with time. In comparison to the first week, it has definitely softened a considerable amount.
I am currently only taking ibuprofen and am starting to walk normal again (yay no penguin waddling!). I don’t feel the need to take any other meds because it doesn’t really hurt. The hardest part is still not being able to sit and I can only lay on my stomach.
Will be back next week to update!

One week mark!

Hey there!
Today is the one week mark and my butt is SLOWLY softening up just a tad bit. I didn’t want to add pictures just yet because I have tape on the incision site, but I think itll be beneficial for others to see my healing process too!
There is definitely still a lot of swelling so I am not sure what my end results are going to be. They are still a bit higher but I feel like when they soften up more and drop a bit, they will be in the perfect position. Im not hating the position theyre in right now either though! I can live with it haha.
My curves from the swelling are still there fortunately. I hope they dont go away! My main concern are implants showing when I bend over, so I’m going to be keeping a close eye on it. So far, I dont think it’ll be an issue since it was done intramuscularly.
The doctor lowered my meds and took away 3. Its kind of hard adjusting, but the hydrocodone was making me itchy so I had to stop it.
So far, pain is alright. Im slowly getting back to doing things on my own but just keep a reminder that they will not heal the same speed. I am definitely having a harder time with one side compared to the other (lifting up my leg, bending it a certain way).
The healing process for butt implants in general are no joke. Do not push yourself into doing something because you might fall. You might think you got it, but there’s nothing wrong with asking for help. I am still getting help from my friends and husband trying to get into to the shower, walking up and down the stairs, carrying heavy items and things related to that nature so dont push yourself! Let your body tell you when its ready :)
Ill be back for another update soon!
