Dr Nettle - The Expert In Revision Rhinoplasty
In early March this year I had my revision rhinoplasty performed Dr Warwick Nettle. Dr Nettle is an expert in his field - especially revision rhinoplasty. He has dealt with some of the most complex of cases that most “rhinoplasty specialists” would not be able to / wouldn’t take on.
Prior to meeting Dr Nettle I met with other surgeons and did lots of research to ensure I made the right decision for my revision surgery (unlike the first time). My first rhinoplasty In 2016 (performed by a previous surgeon) left me with a bridge that was shaved down far too much (causing my nose to collapse on one side ), a bulbous tip, indentations, uneven nostrils , and a crooked nose. There are no words to explain what this did to my self esteem.
When I met Dr Nettle for my initial consultation I knew he was the only one capable of fixing my concerns. I had full faith in him from the moment we met and I felt very safe in trusting him to perform my revision rhinoplasty. Not only did he make me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process , he was very professional, knowledgeable and realistic about the result he could give me.
Dr Nettle cares for each patient immensely, he does not make you feel obligated to go ahead with surgery - he simply provides you with the facts and what is achievable/ realistic. He did not push me into having surgery, but rather wanted me to really think about if it was what I wanted.
My experience leading upto surgery to post- op was amazing - a real breath of fresh air compared to my first rhinoplasty. Dr Nettle and his beautiful staff are so kind and caring - this is really important when you undergo any type of surgery because you want to know you are looked after and your concerns are taken care of.
For those considering a revision rhinoplasty- I cannot stress enough the importance of finding an excellent and accredited surgeon to perform something as tedious as rhinoplasty / and revision rhinoplasty. It is also important to note - A surgeon that can perform an outstanding rhinoplasty in no way means they can perform an outstanding revision rhinoplasty. Revision rhinoplasties are a totally different field and have high risks and require an expert- Dr Nettle is that expert. It takes a true master like Dr Nettle to be able to find the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality whilst fixing up a previous surgeons mistakes. His attention to detail and client care is exceptional!
Dr Nettle exceeded by expectations above and beyond. My nostrils are perfectly even, I have no indentations, my bridge is so beautiful and my tip is so petite and feminine! I can say he truly changed my life and gave me my confidence back. I’m 7 months post op, my nose is still changing and I love my nose more and more every day. Thank you for the glowing review. Could you give more details on the procedure, such as what was done to build up the bridge? Also, how has the nose changed over the months? I've had a revision recently, and am wondering whether my bridge should have been built up a bit, as with tip swelling it looks too long and scooped right now.
Hi, could you also tell who are the other surgeons you consulted? did you consult also in Melbourne? if so, who in Melbourne?
