Initially everything was going smoothly my butt looked fabulous, but of course the swelling goes down and so does the booty. When I took my garmet off and Dr. Mel Ortega came in to look at me I told him something was wrong with my stomach and he said no you're healing beautifully, so as I waited for what seemed hours he had me buy foam. The foam did not help with my stomach I still have about three fat pockets and it looks very lumpy still after 8 months now. I do not want to go back there, because honestly all they care about is the money they take a very long time to get back to you and don't care to give the patient a call to see if they are okay.

Ho jasmin, sorry you are not happy with your results. I had a bbl with ortega about 5 months ago and i still massage my stomach. I used to have some hard lumpy areas, but that is the purpose of the lymphatic massages. My butt went down also, but my shape is still there. I still wear my garment or some kind of compression. Try messaging the area. Hope this helps

sorry you are not happy with your results, were you getting drained and massages ! But after 8 months it shouldn't still be fluid ... Have you looked into doing another bbl ?

I agree that the after care is poor. Also, Ortega will not focus on sculpting the tummy so much when doing a BBL, but more so on getting the fat needed to do the BBL. I didn't have Lipo on the abdomen, but have seem the lumpy tummy on mostly every BBL or that was not super slim. Most require a TT on a round 2 unless you go out of the country where the Dr is willing to do the whole sha-bang. The ab board an massages really do help, but most people that you see who look smooth after a BBL burn fat in that area well, or has had some extra work.
Sculpting the body is a process so please don't be discouraged. You can try something as simple as 2 of the rubber waist trimmers from Wal-Mart, worn during with exercise; they are cheap and work well to heat up you midsection, burn fat and pull of extra water in the tummy area! If you don't workout and can wear latex, the vadette and leonesia high compression garment are great because they are rubber and literally mold to you figure while adding hear to melt fat.

I am 2 mths post op after having Bbl done by ortega also. No one has ever followed up with me at all.

That's Spectrum 4 ya! You go get the work done then you got to fine tune it yourself. Real Self is a great place for support! Others that have gone through The BBL can help you out best!
