I am scheduled to have smart lipo on my upper and lower abs on 07/15/2016. I wanted to do my flanks and love handles but was not financially able to do that at this time so I am hoping I will be able to work out on my own to reduce fat in those areas. Has anyone ever had smart lipo on just the abs and found it farely easy to lose weight/contour those surrounding areas? **i will add my before pics later**

Good luck on your journey, I look forward to following along. Have you checked in here yet?

Are you all set for your recovery?

No this is my first time. I have filled my prescriptions and began taking my vitamins and purchased pads. I haven't purchased any foods for after surgery because I am hoping to eat lots a fresh fruit and veggies. I don't know of any other things that may be necessary for a comfortable recovery.

I'm wondering if anyone has been slow to get results like I have. I have seen people with stomachs similar to mine who seem to have had much better results. I've drank nothing but water and an occasional Gatorade since my surgery. My eating habits are way better. I've controlled my portions, watched my calories, and eating clean for the most part which is a dramatic change for me. Why are my results so slow?

I've not had surgery yet (it's tomorrow! Eek!) But some people just swell longer than others, thats why doctors say you won't see full results for 4-6 months. Give it some time, every body is different. I've seen some reviews where they looked bigger post op but it went down.

My best friend goes tomorrow also and she will be with the same doctor I used. Another friend of our used him previously and she had good results however her stomach was smaller than mine too. I'm trying not to be negative but most reviews I've seen people see change very early, some on day one and two. I hope I see something miraculous really soon. Thanks for your reply!
