Tattoo Removal on Arm

WORTH IT
I've been slow to put a review on here, but wanted to let others know about the experience I have had so far with the tattoo removal.
Going into the process a little over a year ago, I wasn't sure about how the results would be, which office to trust, etc. Since then I've been very happy with how things are progressing at Dr. Wendle's office. The tattoo is on my upper arm and have done 7 treatments, and should only have a few more to go.
For the removal process in general, the first thing I would tell anyone is be patient. The tattoo won't go away overnight, but stay with it and the laser will do its work over time. Having a good tech has been key in my removal as well, I haven't had any pigmentation issues or scaring at all which I was nervous about on the front end.
To describe the laser and each session, it doesn't feel great and isn't something you would do for fun, but isn't terrible. Getting a tattoo has its pain and takes quite some time to have put on, while each pass of the laser is much quicker and the pain goes away quick. I've read being popped with bacon grease and snapped with a rubber band, both of which would be a good way to describe it. I have found that the red ink does not hurt near the same as black and the results have been great on the red so far, so not all colors are the same for pain and removal time. That night and the next day it feels like a sunburn, but with the gel they sold me it helps a ton.
I’ll send more updates as the tattoo continues to fade out, but for now if anyone is debating getting a tattoo removed and live in the Nashville area, I would recommend Dr. Wendle’s office for sure.
