I had been tanning since I was 13 , stopped roughly two years ago. I've tried topical creams and maxed out my use for my melasma and it actually got worse . Found Dr. Hartman on RealSelf and submitted a message and they called me very quickly . I not only got laser treatment on my face but laser hair removal as well. This all happened on the day I was only expecting a consult . He offered to do it since I traveled so far ! Very impressed !

They used the nordlys hybrid for my laser treatment on my face for my brown spots . And that tool, just with a different attachment was also used for my laser hair removal on my bikini and underarm

No it has not I am very cautious about sun now though . I always have sunscreen on because as we know melasma is relentless so it will try its best to seek anything to trigger it to come back

None of it has came back of what has been removed. I vaguely have a little slight discoloration on my forehead but my progress is incredible.

Be careful. It looks good at first then your skin texture starts to deteriorate a few months later. Please keep us posted:)

Can you tell me more about what kind of laser he used? My melasma is pretty severe and i wonder if laser would make it worse? (It was brought on by laser originally). But nothing else works.
