Nipple reconstruction

I had my nipples reconstructed on 2/3/25. I had this done under local and the procedure was less than an hour. My stitches came out about 14 days later. I didn’t have any pain during or after the procedure. They definitely flattened a lot in the 4 weeks since I had them done. I will be getting 3D tattoos done 6 weeks from nipple creation. The tattoos will be done in my DR office by a medical tattoo artist.

Left implant flipped, and both implants are very flat at the top.

My Dr was going to do nipple reconstruction but opted to swap my implants for a better result.

The last two pics are the day after my revision surgery on 11/5/24 and how they looked a week later.

4 week follow up appointment. My stitches are out!

My doctor said things are looking really good. We won’t see the final results until around 3 months. If adjustments are needed, one drops lower or in another direction that can be corrected and healing is just a few days. He even mentioned some patients swap different sizes. I don’t plan to do that.

My pain is very manageable with Advil, Tylenol and Gabapentin. I am physically able to do most daily activities (not lifting heavy items).

I am primarily wearing a sports bra. So far, so good.
