The following are pictures of my eyes during the early recovery period post surgery (last 3.5 weeks). I still have a lot of swelling. And some days my eyes look more swollen than the day before. Hoping the swelling goes down faster. Also my incision line is reddish pink and has some raised bumps

Double Eyelid Surgery Recovery
Im Filipino and was born with double eyelids, but they weren’t very defined. I never thought I would get double eyelid surgery until recently I started researching more and more into it. Finally I had my surgery on May 8. I am currently going through the healing process and am unsure if I like my eyes or not. The crease is a little high for my liking and I hope it goes down with time. I’ve been reading through some other posts and have gathered the idea that time and patience will tell if my surgery is satisfactory. Anyway, I’ll post some pics of my healing process

Yes my creases were super high too but I assure you it will drop when the swelling goes down. They can also heal at a different speed and can also look uneven. I’m at 11 weeks tomorrow and I’m still not sure. I’m not used to my eyes yet and the unevenness does not help. Feel very stressed and worried at times my eyes won’t look the same

I just had mine done a week ago! My stitches looked uneven which worried me and I am telling myself to stop worrying about it until after at least months. I think your eyes look beautiful! They will probably go down a little more.
