Double eyelid surgery - pre and post surgery

UPDATED FROM LHT2020

Post Sugery - 2 Months

I would like to share an update on my double eyelids surgery.
It has been 2 months since I had my surgery. Comparing to the recovery process from the first month, the swelling has slowly reduced quite a bit. My eyes also slowly starting to look more natural and again I’ve been getting a lot of compliments from friends and family.
I will follow up with a further update on my recovery.

Thanks for sharing! Was it full-incisional or partial? Also, how much did you pay? I’m going to proceed des in Seoul very soon too, but the hospital I chose is regen PS and the surgeon who’ll proceed it Dr. Seok Jun Lee. I had only online consultation with them, but so far, pics they sent me (results of Dr.Lee’s work) look amazing! I contacted so many hospitals in Seoul but feel like his results look exactly what I’m looking for. Wish you a quick recovery and hope to share my review here as well :)
Your eyes are gorgeous!

Post Surgery - 1 Month

Post Surgery Update - (1 month)

Just wanting to share with you all an update with my 1 month post surgery photo.

Comparing to the last review I had posted, the bruises have now completely disappeared but still had a bit of swelling around the eyelids area. As the procedure I chose to have on my double eyelid surgery was full incisional method, the healing process of scarring around the stitches area will take at least 6 months for my eyes to look more natural. It is important that you keep maintaining the routine of taking/applying your medications to to help with the healing process.

I have already received so many compliments about my double eyelids despite it hasn’t been so long since I had it done. I can already see the differences of my eyes before and after I had the surgery done. I am very pleased with BK hospital work on giving me the result that I am after.

I will again follow up with another review later to show you the healing process of my eyelids.

Post Surgery - Stitches Removal

Post surgery update (1 week) - stitches removal

It has been 7 days since I had my double eyelid surgery and I have today gone back to the hospital to get the stitches removed.

Attached photo below is the photo of my eyes after the stitches removal. Comparing from the photo of my eyes a day after the surgery, the swelling and bruises have significantly decrease. Depending on your skin types, some may recover faster than others. As my eyes are a bit sensitive, there is a little bit of skin irritations and inflammation around my eyes but it is hardly noticeable. I have been and will still be placing a cold eye patch to help with the swelling and itchiness around my eyes.

I am pleased with the outcome of my eyes surgery. Although it is still at early stage to see how my eyes will look like as it is still swelling and bruising, you can already starting to see the difference between the before and after photos of my eyes. I am looking forward to see the changes once my eyes have slowly recover.

I will follow up with another update of my eyes within the next few weeks.
