This was a long time coming, I haven't been on real self for nearly a century, I owe her this 5 thumbs up review.
I've been to Dr Ho's office on numerous occasions throughout the years, and have never had a bad experience. I don't know how to explain it but her aura/vibe is just so genuine/motherly. She's a patient-first, profit later Dr, which is I know all of us can appreciate in this cut throat industry. I don't want to go into detail on all the procedures I've done with her, but she is more than a doctor, she's an artist. Ive referred a bundle of friends to her; I know people that's flown cross country just to get work done by her, and everyone of them has loved their results. If you're looking for a Dr for a rhino or double eyelid surgery, look no further.

A review that only praises a surgeon but has no information regarding such procedures explaining what type, how was the experience and a description of the before and after (given the lack of pics) doesn't help realselfers, which is the point — or at least I believe it is— of this platform. To be honest, this review is not only completely unhelpful, its lack of information might make realselfers wary of it and the surgeon mentioned... especially when you compare the positive reviews shown on RS with the negative reviews on Yelp, not to mention the warning message on Yelp mentioning the legal threats Dr.Goretti Ho Taghva uses against patients who have had a terrible experience by her, being left deformed, wanting to raise their concerns publicly.
Dr. Goretti Ho Taghva charges more than 30% than other surgeons, even though she's got half their experience. I know this because, thanks to her, I had to undergo 2 revisions and these surgeons charged me much less than what Dr. Goretti Taghva did. Let's not forget revision work is more expensive than a primary surgery. Given the complexity of these cases, a lot of skill and experience is needed and almost no surgeon wants to take care of other surgeon's poor job.
Dr.Goretti Ho Taghva also refused to refund the money back even though she left me with severe deformities that require several revisions. She only offered to refund part of it in exchange of giving up my right to write a review and/or sue her, which of course I refused.
When I chose Dr. Goretti Ho Taghva I agreed to pay around 13k for surgery, little did I know her lack of skill (and empathy) would cost me +30k and counting.
For all these reasons, describing Goretti Ho Taghva as "patient first, profit later" I find it very hard to believe.
