WORTH IT$5,150
I can't believe that a year has passed. I have really enjoyed my new look. My eyes are much more symmetrical now. I went and had hd laser browse done. I look much younger and I haven't had to put on as much makeup as I used to. I love my rounder eyes. Dr. Goretti Ho did a really nice job... My new browse and fake lashes helps too.

I have to say this has been an amazing journey for me. I love my new look now. The swelling has gone down alot. My eyes are not totally symmetrical.. I blame God for that :) With makeup I can hardly tell. I am very happy with the work that Dr Goretti Taghva has performed. My scars are so much less visible now. I don't have any scar bumps like the ones I had around 3 weeks. I feel like I look much younger because I don't have to lift my brows to open my eyes 100%. I am very grateful for the ptosis surgery.. The double eyelid is just a bonus. The pressure in my eyes are still there a little but has gone down drastically from the beginning. I have to try to not open my eyes too big else I have this really mean serious look. I have had lash extensions for the last 2 months and I really love them with my new eyes.

We can never have 100% symmetry even with the surgery. Plus your eyes looks beautiful :)

Thank you. I don't notice the symmetry issue like I used to. Maybe because I'm not starring at them 20X a day like I used to! I'm very happy with the work done by Dr. Taghva.

My eyes are so beautiful now. It took me a while to get used to them. They started out so uneven after the surgery because they were healing so unevenly but after 10 weeks they are so much more balanced. Dr. Goretti Ho Taghva did such a wonderful job with my ptosis surgery. My eyes open very good now. The double eye lid part is looking so good now, more balanced out. I must have spent like $600 on makeup just the last couple months to make me look and feel better. I don't feel like an alien walking around anymore lol. I still have scars in the corner of my eyes. I think those will take time to disappear. I used castor oil in the lash and brows and scar areas to help with hair growth and scars. This surgery took a mental toll on my mental and physical being but it was so worth it.

You look great! I’m at 11 weeks and I know what you mean. The emotional rollercoster really takes a toll on you during the healing process. I’m still at “not sure” but only time will tell

Thank you. I think the hardest part was getting used to new eyes. I'm much more confident with the eye makeup now. My eyes aren't 100% symmetrical but most people don't have symmetrical eyes. I think we are our toughest critic. Plus all the extra time you spend alone analyzing your facial features don't help :) I'm very greatful for the ptosis surgery, I had no much skin removed, my double eye lid look was just a bonus. Good luck on your healing...it will look and feel better :)

Thanks for the reply. Mine are still healing unevenly.
I look like I have ptosis in one eye but I can see the lid is still swollen so hoping it will even out. and as you mentioned, I’m still not used to my new eyes. So all of those combined has been pretty tough mentally. Reading your post has helped me a bit because I could relate to what you were saying and feeling.

Oh forgot to ask you. I had the same procedure done as you. Do you feel like your eyes are more sensitive now? Especially to the light?
May 30, 2019
My eyes are not more sensitive to the light. But for a while they were very sensitive to my touch, I think it will get better with time. My scars are getting better now too..they don't protrude as much as they used to around the corners. I use to feel a lot of tension when I open my eyes really big, but the tension is minimal now. I think our bodies heal at different speeds. The left eye healed much more slower for me..now they are more even. I just went and got eye lash extensions and it makes my eyes look really nice. I never knew that my eyes could look so big and sexy lol.
