I healed very quickly and without any issues

My overall experience was very positive! I got double eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) and upper epicanthoplasty. I originally had monolids and one eye was larger than the other. Now, I have double eyelids (in-out style) and they are more even in size.

I met with a few other clinics for consultations but felt the most confident with Thank You. I appreciated how gentle and thorough Dr. Kim was during the consultation. He took his time to explain the potential outcomes based on the different styles (in-out, semi; epicanthoplasty, etc.) specific to my face structure. He spoke great English but still had a translator, Chloe, present for extra clarity. When speaking to staff, Chloe helped tremendously in answering questions and making sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. I recommend coming prepared with example photos, styles in mind, and any questions.

Prior to the surgery, we confirmed the surgery plans before getting started. I felt no pain during the surgery. Immediately after, I only felt a little discomfort once the anesthesia completely wore off. The aftercare instructions were easy to follow. I healed very quickly, much faster than anticipated.

Stitch removal stung a little bit but it was quick and manageable. Afterward, I used the UV light therapy to help with inflammation.

I am now 4 months post-operation. I healed very quickly and without any issues. The entire process felt very safe and I was confident throughout. Chloe was available over WhatsApp and was a great resource for any questions. It is clear that Dr. Kim is an expert. I will recommend him to anyone looking to get double eyelid surgery!
