Double eyelid surgery - No more dry eye, nice lift too!
ORIGINAL POST
I Can See! No More Dry Eye. Nice Lift Too!
WORTH IT
Procedure was worth it. Really no pain—only needed Tylenol the first night.
Took it easy for a week. Followed protocol to ice for 10 min every hour I was awake for the first 48 hours. Stitches were removed 10 days after surgery. Now recovering and waiting for eyelids to finish healing.
Work advisory: did not want to work at all for first 48 hours; could only work on computer for 2 hours max day 3… basically working on the computer was very tiring so if you work… do plan to be out of pocket for a week.
Day 13 post op—Today I had a client meeting. My scars are red but I wore glasses so unless they were really looking at me they did not notice. I wore mascara but I won’t do that again until I am more healed. I will say my eyes were again tired under their overhead lights so I think I will go back to taking it easy for a few more days.
Do get distilled water and put in fridge. Soak sterile, gauze pads to set over eyes if they feel itchy it feels really great! And this cooling treatment was very helpful as we are in the middle of very high pollen so my eyes were itchy from that too!
Hope this review helps someone.
