My scar is completely flattened. It is trying to lighten up on its own. I recently had my belly pierced. I still experience mild swelling. I am still happy with my results and surgeon. I was approved for scar revision but I don’t want to go under again.

It’s been 10 months. Swelling still but overall recover is going terrific. My scar is really flat and dark but I expected it since I hyperpigment. I plan to get pulse dye laser treatments in 2 months.

I went to Dr Palladino in Miami. He use to work out of MIA Aesthetics but now he has his own private office. It’s called Top Aesthetics and it is located in Florida as well

Yes i went to Lux in Miami in December so far I’m pretty satisfied but on my scar it’s still swollen how long does it normally taken to be completely flat ??

It depends on your skin. Some areas on mine were always flatten, but the ends had formed keloids. It is just now flatten out and I am 14 months post-op

I thought I was the only person who was still experiencing swelling even tho it’s not noticeable to others.. 5 months post op.. so I still have a long way to go before the swollen stops

me too! I'm about 4mo post OP and still have swelling.. doesn't help that I had an emergency appendectomy with sepsis 2 months ago

Here is many photos along my recovery journey. I am pretty pleased with my results this far. I have been putting BioCorneum scar gel and silicone strips to lighten my scar. It looks really good already. Doctor P was really steady with the scalp.
