How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

After much research, weighing in my options and minimizing risk I narrowed my search down to Miami.
My first choice was Colombia but there is no way I am going away for 3 weeks without my child and taking her is not an option. Second choice Dominican Republic (I'm Dominican) not happening again the thought of International surgery just doesn't sit well with me due to the possibility of unforeseen complications.
I am left with Miami I have only heard positive things about Dr. Alvarez and Mia Aesthetics. I must say that it seemed to take forever to finally contact someone there for an estimate. After several weeks of telephone calls and email I finally received word from Layla, whom called me during business hours and I tried to tell her as much as I could considering I was at work and needed privacy but having her on the line was something I couldn't pass. She followed up our telephone conversation with an email requesting images and after another few weeks I received a quote. When I called to give my deposit I found out my surgery would not be with Dr. Alvarez but with Dr. Palladino, this put me back on drawing board looking into his work which I couldn't find much of. I finally found him under Magicsurgeon although the images there do not do him justice again I found nothing but great reviews on him. I made up my mind and gave my deposit. His next available date is not until July 2018. There is no way I am going to be in that Miami heat in pain wearing a faja, so I decided to wait it off to the last week in September.
Now that I am all set with the surgeon and dates, finding a hotel is my new task. Aloft is 1/4 of a mile from Mia and is probably the one I will take but trying to keep hotel expense to a minimum and investing in a nurse for more than the 24hr required by law.
I have looked into a couple of websites that offer the services it runs at about $15.00/Hr or $350.00 for 24hrs. I prefer this to the whole recovery house experience, I have read about a couple of nightmares on here and I would hate to find myself in such a compromising experience while postop. I rather be alone than in bad company.

None yet. Hopefully my experience with my surgical coordinator will be a pleasant one.
