Well I've stalked these profiles for many many...

Well I've stalked these profiles for many many months! I finally came to the decision to have my procedure done at the ripe ole age of 40 lol. And I'm gonna do my best to give y'all (southern drawl) my short version of this entire journey. I've always been overweight. I do not have not one memory of ever having a flat stomach, even as a teenager. I've always been embarrassed about my belly, never wanting to go anywhere and definitely no pics ever. Over the years I struggled with my weight l'll lose and then gain just a never ending vicious cycle. Yes, I was depressed I mean who wouldn't be. Fast forward early 2013 relationship #fail and it was time for me to get in shape once in for all. Researched tt found Robles on this site and contacted her. She told me what she could do and I started preparing my body for my procedure in sept. I originally wanted a bl and tt but, I was too anemic at the time of surgery. Ladies if u have low blood levels the best thing to take is whole food blood builders! Nothing worked to get my hgb up but I took this stuff twice a day only 21/2 wks before my surgery and it made a huge difference in my levels. Anyways we (my sister and I) arrived in DR on Sunday 09/22 went straight to the clinic and had pre ops done and then chilled out in our room for the rest of the day. And yes we went through all kinds of emotions from laughing hysterically to arguing amongst ourselves lol I'm telling you this was unlike anything I had ever experienced. Cecip clinic was clean but not clean enough and the 1st thing we done was break our Clorox wipes and go to work scrubbing down the beds, walls and bedside table. Yes we cleaned dried blood and all kinda matter off those beds. Lol and then a couple hours later the nurse comes in and says we moving you to the 3rd floor! What! We just used all our Clorox cloths on these nasty beds! Well it was nothing to do but pack up and roll out! Good laugh. The next morning sept 23 we got up early took showers with our hiberclense and patiently waited for the infamous "blue" pill. I got mine 1st and in about 30 min I was unconscious literally. I've never went out like that I mean I was talking one minute and straight dropped like a sack of potatoes the next minute Kml. Ok, now seriously next thing I know I wake up crying screaming "omg it hurt so bad" it wasn't for a long time though in about 10 sec they gave me something in my IV and I went out again. 2nd time I woke up I could tell they putting me in my garment and I screamed again "it hurt so bad" again they gave me something in my IV and I'm out again. I finally wake up in my room like what in the world just happened to me lol. I can't believe I'm in foreign country having major surgery! What was I thinking but, tbh after surgery I had very minimal pain I took a Percocet one time and a zofran. I didn't have to take any more narcotics from that day to this one. I arranged my room before the blue pill knocked me out and I had my phone and iPad cough drops water everything within reach for when I returned from surgery. The 1st thing I did was asked how was my sister and then reached for my phone so I could take pics "down there". I could feel with my hands that the belly was gone but I wanted to see it and I did my best to snap as many pics as I could. I was already ecstatic about my results. Well the rest of the night was foggy and I remember the nurse coming in numerous times changing IV bags and checking on me no problems during the night. The next morning I was up and ready to see my sister but they wouldn't let me get up. Finally a nurse came in and I got up out that bed and I been rocking and rolling every since. So this is a long post I'm gonna stop for now and I'm a terrible blogger anyway. I can just imagine all the grammar errors I've made lol. I will finish tomorrow. I'm gonna try an upload a few before and after. Feel free to ask me any questions u like. Oh yea Dr. Robles is the truth! She is an excellent surgeon luv my results. Very dramatic

Virginias recovery house

Wow I wrote a really long review on my stay at the recovery house and it just disappeared! Sorry I'm not writing it again lol. To make a long story short our stay was fine. I was extremely homesick and it was the hardest part of my recovery. Virginia and the other girls will take very good care of you. Take your own disposable gloves upon my departure I gave them 2 boxes. Matter of of fact I donated all my supplies to the recovery house, suitcase and everything. I left there with my purse and a drain lol. I do plan to return in March for round 2 breast lift and bbl. I will not over pack like I did before. There is nothing I have to buy for round 2 I still have plenty of every thing. Well good to you ladies that's going and I will see ya in March! Happy healing

Pics up again for a short while
