Everything is so different since i had surgery 3 years ago. I really want to go to Yily but it seems like her popularity has gone to her head. Manon is doing amazing things and i am liking what I am seeing.

I originally went to Dr. Yily in 2013. However, my tummy tuck scar healed horribly, and I take 100% of the blame for that. This will be round two for me and I am interested in Dr. Baez , I've read wonderful things about her. Dr Yily has changed since I saw her, she wasn't a popular when I went to DR in February of 2013, and honestly , I am not liking what I am reading. I will change doctors this time and pray for amazing results.

Hey & welcome back!
Heyyyyyy!!
Thank you for sharing.
What happen that casued scar to heal in that maner? Is there somthing you did or did not do?
I did not know that I had keloid prone skin which is common in AFrican Americans. If I could do it all over I would use silicone strips and sheets on my scar
My scars look similar to yours I did everything I was supposed to but overtime the scars got darker and I'm worried about the raised scarring. Did u ever get it revised?
Is the scar raised or just super dark and think? It's hard to tell by the picture.
It's raised.
Everyone's body responds so differently to scar tissue..UGH!
Don't beat yourself up too bad over this. I know it's more $ and possibly another trip, if you don't live in DR, but neither you nor Yily knew about this. I know someone who was prone to keloids and needed surgery, she needed to start corticosteroid shots before and have different kinds of dressings (not just scar strips) in order to prevent them a second time. You might need some extra treatment, but I hope things work out for you. I really applaud you for not just going with your old doctor, but looking around for who is the best now. Best of luck to you. Happy healing.
Thank you so much for that!
I had my TT with Dr. baez and can say I recall my 1st visit she asked me "let me look at your body any previous scars not really but the one you have are healed well". I asked why she I want to explain about Keloids how everyone skin is different what I recommend based on your skin, you are hispanic decent but not native or aftican so your skin will heal well.
If your dr tells you that up front and knows ehat you have to di to avoid then your are cautions.
I used scar strips for 2months my drains didn't come out for 14 days but she told me what was best. What time should I pick up the rent tomorrow?
