Yes, that's the recovery house I stayed at, it was great. It's a nurse/doctor by the name Sule (sp?) she is amazing. She doesn't speak English but that doesn't stop her from knowing what you need and when you need it. The food was good and the other stuff was great also. I would stay there again.

It seems odd that they will not take a credit card although the email states that they will take a credit card for a fee of 3.7% to cover the credit card processing fees. I am a little concerned as to whether I am dealing with the doctors office or with a "facilitator" or "Medical Tourism Company" who may be "fly by night" because I have heard many stories. Depositing into a bank account instead of using a credit card would offer no protection from a scam. Lehfny is the name on the emails which I received. Does she work directly for Dr. Mejia?

The email has bank information but I was unsure if the account belonged to the surgeon or to a "facilitator" or 'Medical Tourism" company because many of those are unscrupulous and I have read stories of their not passing on the funds. If they do not accept the credit card for only the deposit portion, I will likely chose another surgeon. I agreed to pay the additional fees incurred by the credit card use and the email even sates that up to 30% of the fee can be paid via credit card while I only want to pay the small deposit via credit card. I sent the card information and received a reply that the credit card had to be in front of them. I know this to be UNTRUE; so I found this to be a huge red flag. It made me wonder with whom I was actually dealing.
