This was a long and much needed journey for me if you've read my other reviews I've been researching for a long time Now I'm finally on the flat side. My journey isn't over yet I have a few more things that I'm gonna have work on but for now let me tell you about my experience with Dra Medina. She is very sweet and beautiful with such a happy spirit. Any questions or concerns that I've had before and after surgery she always respond in a timely manner. 1 or 2 months before surgery she sent me a itinerary so when I arrived. Letting me know that Georgr her driver would pick me up from the airport and take me to the clinic for labs etc. So when I arrived at the airport it was kind of confussing there were 3 long lines and everything was in spanish the workers dont speak english so you just hav to figure it out.Good thing I printed my tourist card I went to the correct line on the right and just went with the flow. While exiting the airport George was standing there holding a sign with Dra Medina's name on it at the top with my name written on it. so we were on our way. My phone did not work in DR so I had to use WIFI while I was there and George had WIFI in his cab so I was able to contact my family. when I arrived at the clinic its like the staff already knew who I was they all treated me with hugs I was able to meet Dra Medina and her staff I got my labs done, talked to a psychiatrist, and went to the hosipital to get Xrays. when I got back Dra Medina pulled me in the office and let me know that I wasnt going to be able to have a full Mommy Makeover because my Hemo dropped to 13 and it needed to be at least 13.8 but I wasn't tripping better safe than worry. The clinic was full so I had to stay at the recovery house that night I didn't use Myhome because me and my buddy were staying at another RH. The day of surgery I was told to be there at 6am so George was there to pick me up at 5:15am when we arrived at the clinic I was the first one there . So the wait was on more people started to come and I wasn't the first surgery of the day. so when it was my turn I go my IV Dra Medina came to mark me up I took my Blue pill and was taken into surgery. I wasn't awake for the epidural or the surgery I did wake up for a brief second saw my eyes covered and went back out. I was taken to my room after surgery and Dra Medina came to check on me I had a over night nurse Nubia which didn't speak English but she was great I downloaded my translator app and we kept each other company. I wasnt in any pain at all and had on a Faja I couldn't see my body but I already noticed the difference. The next morning my nurse helped wash me up Dra Medina checked on my I got to see my new waistline and small stomach got my first massage and then released from the clinic. I was told I had it easy because I had NO PAIN for the first 3 day on day for I had a little pain and was uncomfortable so I stated to take 1 pain pill a day. Dra Medina checked on me everynight via What's app to make sure I was ok I had a follow ups with her every three to four days while I was there to get my bandages changed. My first week I couldn't sleep to save my Life I Felt like the Princess and the Pea I was so miserable. after 1 week I got my stage 2 faja and it made things a lot better I was able to sleep because the compression helped me be comfortable. I stayed in DR for 15 days when I got home I wasn't able to sleep in my bed so I slept in my recliner. I went back to work 3 weeks post op because week 2 I was still hunched and very stiff.I am now. 4 weeks PO and feeling good loving my body and the stiffness is almost gone. Later Dolls
