Well I really hate to post these but in order to see the amazing job my PS did then post I must ugh!! Anyway these pics are me at age 50, my last precious daughter was born 15 yrs ago...I kept a nice figure up until around the age of 47, menopause started and so did weight gain which showed up fiercely in my belly and thighs!! Wasn't easy adjusting to this version of me :(
faja/cg an important part of recovery!!
Do your research ladies and understand what exactly happens to your body when you undergo any lipo or tummy tuck!! Understand why compression is needed and how important it is to aid in your recovery
Because I was in a hot humid climate and feeling soffocted in my faja while trying to sit by the pool I thought just for that short distance to walk to the pool area I would be OK without my faja/cg for the a couple hours so against my Docs orders I took it off for those ocassional trips to the pool but paid the price!!! At sides 3 weeks post op I developed a seromas which required aspiration 4 times and around that time I wanted my drain out so Doctor gave me ultimatum.... If I promised to not remove my compression garment and because I was getting smaller by the week she kindly ordered me to squeeze into a smaller garment so fluids could not get trapped again! I was more than happy to obey this time and have had no further issues to date and she did remove my drain that same day under her terms p:) Where your compression garments loyaly and tight like ladies.... seromas do happen for many reasons but cg's can save you from developing one and truste aspirating a seromas is NOT fun!! Rest and limit movement for up to 3 weeks also to allow the skin flap to adhere to the muscle wall...shearing motions can also cause seromas to develop!
