I lost 300 pounds over 4 years. I went through a bad divorce and f9ound love again. To gain my self confidence back, I decided to get a tummy tuck and liposuction. I researched and consulted many doctors and settled on Dr,.Almonte. I was happy wit my results but unhappy with the recovery home as well as after care. I developed a huge seroma, which they did not drain, my drain was not working properly, I was asked repeatly to pay for things although I was given a all oncusive price
For those considering the surgeon, she is good but don't buy the extra insurance as they won't refund you. Upon my return home I spent most of my time in the hospital as my seroma was getting worse and doctors wouldn't touch me. Finally, one said he would help me and managed to drain me, took care of my bellybutton infection and I will need to be redrained 2-3 more times plus get revision to get the rest of the seroma out. I contacted the doctor and they refused to compensate me for the costs and actually blamed me!! I followed all instructions so I was insulted. As for the recovery house, they would change you in front of others, and there was no privacy or sense of modesty. The staff also played favorites. The food sucked as well. I was happy I brought extra cash to order food.
I will no longer get surgery out of country.
