So far the pain has been quite tolerable it's the discomfort from the faja that's annoying at this point. It has to be pulled up in the back or you will not be comfortable so please ensure your doctor or nurse does that each time it's washed.
It took me 6 days to use the bathroom and thank God for the laxatives I brought with me or I would have been in for a ride. Make a mental note to try to use the bathroom every single day.
Swelling is pretty good so far in the front but the back has been something else. Draining about 25ccs in the front but the back it's still around 200+.
Gas makes me feel nauseated even though I'm eating round the clock with 2 snacks between meals so having some gas-x has also been another life saver.
I miss my family but being around great staff and others going through the same thing does take the edge from being homesick.

On the flat side
If I had second thoughts about my choice in a doctor those immediately disappeared the moment I touched down and was picked up by Neper the driver. His phone rang and it was Georgina (Dr Leon's assistant) calling to ask how I was doing and how my flight was. She then let me know what to expect and my appointment time for the next day.
When I got to the office on Wednesday Georgina and I chatted like old buddies and would you believe she remembers ever one of their patients' names? She is genuine and goes the extra mile to ensure you are well taken care of. She even spent the night with me after I had my surgery.
Now Dr Leon, apart from being handsome this man is so down to earth and is so genuine, I can't say enough good things about his. He made me feel like I was in the best hands and whatever fears I had were laid to rest.
My surgery was on Thursday and I felt confident that I would come out a very happy woman. I'm so pleased with my results already and it's only been a day and the communication with them is more than I could have imagined. They're contacting me to ensure I'm doing well and that I'm being taken care of.
If I had to do this all over again I wouldn't hesitate to make the same choice.
I can sincerely say they are the best.

Thanks I'll try to post some better pics soon. I feel great the only discomfort is the bruising from the lipo.

Ok great! I just am starting my journey...... talked to Dr Leon Yesterday. He seems like a very caring man. I'm just not sure if he can give me the results I want. Can't wait to see your results! Glad it's not to painful.

Trust me when I say he will deliver and more. I too was concerned about results but he has given me more than I was hoping for. You just tell him what you want but there are things he just wouldn't do as he cares about your wellbeing more than your results.
His work is also very natural looking and I'm not one of those that like the huge shelf ass and extremely tiny waist it's not something I think looks real but we all have our preference.

My profile pic is natural and that is definitely something he came give you. I'm staying at his recovery house and the care is fantastic. We have a doctor on call 24hrs with a call button. Even though most of the staff speaks Spanish they try to make u feel welcome and call you by your first name and are always ensuring you are attended to.
Being here has taken the edge from being away from my family for sure.

Change of date to July 27th
I changed my initial date from Aug 1st to July 27th. Purchased my ticket so it's now beginning to get real for me. I'm feeling the anxiety and excitement.
Staying busy getting planned for my trip alone. If anyone has any advice please don't hesitate to share.

Gosh thanks. As the time is getting so close I'm really starting to get nervous but I keep reminding myself why I chose him, he makes me feel safe.
