Whoooooooo... just gotta breathe!

I have submitted a few consultation requests, I received two replies! I submitted all the information requested as well as my pictures as asked for. I'm terrified right now that I'll be told I'm too big and not able to get anything done with this horrible, awful, heavy flap! I don't even care if I still look like crap when all is said and done, I just don't want to be carrying around this thing anymore. It makes my back sore, it gets bruised every time I work out and is just an all around pain in my life. It feels good though, to be taking steps towards making my flat-self a reality!

So I finally bit the bullet and contacted two docs...

So I finally bit the bullet and contacted two docs in DR to consult about TT, BBL and Lipo. I had Lap Band surgery done in Toronto in 2011 after my 2nd daughter was born; I've since had a son (born via C-Section). My weight has not changed since the surgery (even during my pregnancy). However, after the c-section, I developed a saggy, uncomfortable apron of loose skin and fat that no amount of exercise can reduce. I also have a diastasis recti that was only minimally repaired with physiotherapy. The reason I'm looking to have a tummy tuck is to get rid of the horrible, saggy apron that itches and causes lower back pain, makes it really difficult to work out -my knees hit it when I'm on the recumbent bike or elliptical and I get really awful bruises, that I'm concerned will cause clotting; especially since the area is numb most of the time.
The reason I chose DR for my surgery is mainly due to the restrictions on surgeons in Canada - none of them will perform the surgery on someone with a BMI over 35; after paying $16K and working hard over the past 6 years to lose weight, and being completely unsuccessful I've decided that for my mental well being and physical health I need to have this surgery done. I'm hoping one of the two doctors I've contacted will be able to help me out!
So for now, I'm off, I'll be taking pictures at some point and will upload those as I get them.
