Recovery house
So I stayed at Silhouette Recovery Home with Angie. I felt so at home for my 2 weeks and it was really nice to have someone who spoke in English. Angie was so nice she even made my appointment with the massage therapist in New York for me who is not fluent in English. Another thing ladies if you are going to DR be honest to the doctors. Skit of girks lie and out there self and lives jeopardy. These doctors are very careful and they do care. Girls have lap bands in and go for Lipo and do not take the proper precautions by emptying it first. Lipo is going to make your stomach smaller therefore the lap and can end up moving and possibly puncturing your stomach as it did for one girl. Also if you have asthma let them know so they can make you see the specialist prior to Anesthesia they do not have your medical history only what you give them. Please stop holding back don't put your life at jeopardy they will not refuse you they will just make you see a specialist to make sure you are safe. I trust these doctors and especially my doctor because they are very cautious and I am a RN, if that helps you. Oh here are some more before pics u was always curvy but the flap was getting in the way

I totally agree. Thank you for you updates. Question, what do you see is really needed as supplies. I will also begoing dr robles on the 7th april for my surgery and dont know exactly what I will need to use.

Regarding Silhouette, did u bring male companion n that is why u stayed there? If not, were there men there and u felt like u couldn t move around the house? What do u wear during the day? I ve read several reviews about Sil and how Angie accompanied her girl to pre op, helped with translating, etc and stayed while she was in sx...did ur stay include that special treatment? Thx for info! Girl, u look great, i bet ur ecstatic!

Sorry for not replying before but yes I had a male with me that's why I stated there. If you are by yourself Angie will accompany you. She is a real sweetheart

Thank u so much fir the info I am going to robles in June and I have a lap band It never crossed my mind to have the fluid taken out that really helped... I have really been worried since the lap band death over there

Some of the liquid. I took my drain out a little early. I do not have a seroma but fluid foes build up and you can wait for it to come out on its own with wearing garment or they can use a syringe and move some fluid build up. You can't feel it above your incision. My massage ladies does it for me. She was a massage lady in DR before moving here
