Smile Makeover - Dominican Republic, DO

After giving it thought for the past 2 years, I finally decided it was time to make a change with my smile. I went to several dentist here in the states and the prices that I was given was just astounding so I starting looking for other alternatives to my situation. I had gold crowns put on my teeth as a teenager, because I grind my teeth, over the years I had basically grind the gold metal away and damaged the exposed tooth. Because, I have GERDS the acid had also cause erosion to my other teeth and thinned out the enamel. I started searching different sites online and came across Realself and it was a game changer for me; it was here that I discovered Dr. Jepssy Beltre. I actually reviewed him and another doc, contacted both docs and to my surprise Dr. Beltre contacted me later that day. He requested that I send him pics, and wanted to know what procedure I was interested in. I sent him my pics and I description of what I was looking for and my expectations. He responded back with his professional opinion and a quote. The other dentist, I made several attempts to contact him without any response back. After, a few more emails and talking with Dr. Beltre, I knew what had to happen next...prayer! I pray about everything and especially when making a decision like going out of the country, and having some type of procedure done. I prayed about it and I knew that everything was going to turn out good. Upon my arrival to the DR, Dr. Beltre had his driver Omar (who is very nice) to pick me up from the airport to check into my room and take me to his office. He saw me the 1st day I arrived, did an oral exam, and began to work on my new smile. The next few days I met Dr. Beltre's wife and they took me out for a lovely dinner at a very nice restaurant. In the days to come he would call to make sure I was okay and I was entertained while I was in the DR. That following Thursday I was headed back to his office to complete my mission. Three gold crowns removed, 2 cavities filled, a gum line lift, 6 veneers, and 3 crowns later, my new smile was complete. I was nervous, excited, but overall happy...I was very pleased with my new look!
