WORTH IT$300
This was the best $300 I spent in my life! I've always been self-conscious about my droopy bottom lip. It was on my mind 90% of the time. I always had to make sure my lip didn't hang and it took over life. Every time I would talk to someone I felt they were looking at my lip and not me. I was teased as a kid about this. It ruined my confidence. I'm so much more happier about my mouth. I can actually be more social. Lipstick looks much better and so does my face.
I was up for the procedure and a local anesthesia was placed in my bottom lip. The actual injection of the anesthesia hurt more than anything. After he put it in my lip I didn't feel any pain. I felt tugging though. Edgar used a scalpel and not a laser. Only because they don't have lasers. I have dissoluble stitches and they melt with no problems.
The swelling is unreal. My lip was 3 times bigger than my natural lip and i thought it's no way it's going to go down, but in fact it did and I'm two weeks in and my lip doesn't hang. It's looks naturally big and sexy.
My lip reduction was only $300 because I got this procedure done with lipo and the bbl (brazilian butt lift) procedure.

He was okay when I was there. He made sure he answered my text, but when I left he never checked up on me or answered any of my questions or concerns. In fact, he ignored me. Contreras has his own clinic and it's modern and spacious. The nurses were helpful when I needed them which was rarely. He's not a man of many words. In spite of his pass, I would go to him again.

I'm 22 days post and I really like my new lip and chin. My chin still has lumps in it, but with self massaging they seem to be disappearing. I do have discoloration still on my chin. I'm still waiting on that to disappear.
The scar inside my lip is getting smaller and it's almost non-existent. Some of the stiches still aren't dissolved yet and I can't really stretch my mouth out fully. Other than that everything is normal and I still feel really good about this.

Thanks for the response. I am interested in having the same procedure but I'm worried about numbness and lips not feeling normal anymore. But I'm glad you are not having any problems, your story is very helpful.

Where did you do your surgery ?

Looks great. From the way your jaw is positioned and it seems that you force your mouth to stay closed...maxillofacial surgery is needed to correct and align your bite. It would bring your chin forward as well and give you a perfect profile. Not a lot of people realize this, and it's the reason your lip was originally shaped the way it was, if your skull had grown to how it was supposed to grow (proper tongue placement on the roof of your mouth is key), your natural lips before the surgery wouldn't have been an issue. The lips look great tough.
