Feeling better everyday, in love with my results and the way clothes fit me now! I had a small seroma on my back when I left DR, I went to a massage therapist locally and she used a lymphstar machine, which heals tissue and moves your lymph at a cellular level. I had 6 sessions and started taking a supplement called lymphatonic and almost all swelling and all seroma is gone.
Home!
I just got home and let me tell you, I am so happy!
I considered myself very mentally and physically prepared. I did my research, overpacked (I sent half of the items I brought back with my husband when he left) I knew going into this that it would be challenging for me because I am so independent and don't like anyone doing anything for me. The pain. But I prayed my results would make it all worth it.
Although I am IN LOVE with my results and love Dr Mota and his wife, this journey was still very hard for me. My rh was great to me but I was very home sick. I missed my family so much and had many emotional days where I was over the pain, the swelling, eating the same foods, feeling like I was "trapped" in the house, the language barrier, bad reception on my phone. I cried! Overall, it was lonely after my husband left me a few days after surgery. If you can have someone come with you and stay the entire time, I think it would make it easier.
I ended up getting a small seroma on my back. The dr told me it was small enough that he wanted me to continue compression to get rid of it vs aspirating. Which I am happy about.
I've said it before and I'll tell anyone who will listen, Dr Mota & Dr Leticia were amazing and so worth it.
