1 month post op pics

Ok ladies I thought I'd let you guys know that I'm still sore. It's mostly my back and the outsides of my breasts where I got aggressive lipo. You can see from my first pics how badly bruised I was. When I left the D.R. I had very little to no bruising. The only other thing I have is a lot of dry, flaking skin. Especially around my boobs. You can see it from the pics. The dry skin just comes right off when I take a shower but before the day is over it's back to drying out. I have 2 spots, each directly under each of my nipples that still need to heal but other than that I'm coming along nicely (in my opinion). I haven't started to use any silicone strips or fading cream. I'm waiting for the last little bit to heal so I can start applying the stuff everywhere. I have to confess I haven't been using my fajas the last couple of days and I'm not sure if I will start them up again. They're just so uncomfortable and I'm extremely happy with my improved body that I really don't think I need it. I'm glad my butt has stayed or at least bit looks like it will, my boobs are so perky and round and my tummy is flat, no more unnecessary extra skin. All in all I'm ecstatic and this is one of the best decisions I've ever made! I have absolutely no regrets!

Update

Just wanted to let you ladies know that yesterday I went for another check up with Dra. Fragoso Beaz and I finally got my drain removed. It had actually stopped flowing anything earlier in the day around noon. When she went to pull it out I won't say it hurt a lot but you can feel something being pulled through your body. It was long because it's wrapped to the other side of your torso. She told me I was free to go home and I had a few questions for her like when could I pick up my 1 year old, have sex, sleep on my side which is the only way I would sleep and can't wait to get back to doing. She said 21 days on everything but the sex part. She said whenever I felt comfortable doing it. I also have a few sutures that are not dissolvable like around my areoles, belly button and the place where my drain was located. She said I'd have to find someone back home to remove those at 21 days as well. She said those were used with stronger material in case I got back home and accidentally popped a stitch or pulled one of those places apart that they wouldn't open up and get infected or I be in the U.S. and not be able to seek help which makes sense. My sister works in a hospital so she's going to ask a couple of the nurses their opinions on if I have to see a Dr. or if one them can do it or if I could even do it by myself.

Day isn't over yet but

Hey ladies. Just wanted to keep you updated on how I've been feeling. The pain is starting to kick in but I wouldn't really call it pain but more like just uncomfortable soreness. My bruising has gone down drastically. I think by the time I'm released to go home I won't have any left. Woohoo! Idk if it's the massages or dissolvable arnica pills but I personally think it's a combination of them both. I think I'm a strong girl since day 1 I've been getting in & out of bed by myself some girls come in here looking like they've been hit by a truck and barely able to walk even after a few days. I think it's just the person and their pain tolerance. I remember I heard some girls a few days ago came in here dancing, singing, talking about how they could have do this all day (ha) but the next day they were all laid up in bed sore and in pain. I thought that was funny. Of course they weren't feeling pain because the anesthesia hadn't completely worn off. Now they take it slow and day by day like we all should. So remember ladies this isn't going to be a complete breeze, we have to take care of ourselves to get optimal results. ;) Just thought I'd share before I forgot or left it out completely. Thanks for reading my personal journey.

My Dra. is the best! I don't think I could've found a more patient, compassionate and people person doctor. She spends time with her patients, listens to what they have to say and addresses every need. I can't believe I was debating on seeing another doctor here. I'm glad I found her.
