Hi Dolls. My name is Dorothy, but you guys can call be Barbie Dora because Dr. Tania is about to have me SNATCHED!!!!! I booked Dr. Tania Medina de Garcia because she had zero deaths thus far. Plain and simple. A majority of her, very few, negative reviews were superficial in my opinion. Some looked good and still gave a 1 star. I don't know. Me personally, I try to be fair. Surgery is risky and complications can occur. We have to do the best we can to give ourselves time to recover and heal, AND FOLLOW YOUR GUT. Lol. Pun intended. If something looks fishy, or someone didn't wash their hands, say something.
When I read reviews, my concern isn't about your surgery not living up to your expectations, it's about how you look based off of your before & after pics and any fatal complications, if any. If you've never been through the process before, it's hard to understand that same size doesn't mean same body. I'll be happy as long as I can wear a sexy two pice and feel comfortable in it.
I considered Dr. Yily too. But her bedside manner seemed a little shaky. People even felt too intimidated to speak to her about their concerns due to fear of upsetting her. I know because my personality can seem standoffish and I speak too blunt (I'm from NY) we wouldn't be a good match and she isn't a TOP doctor. In spite of that, I emailed both 8/2016, and I'm still waiting to hear from Yily, maybe my email got lost in the shuffle. I even thought about Dr. Duran, who isn't a TOP doctor either. Sorry to the Duran Dolls but too many deaths and horror stories.
Dr. Tania has been very polite so far, ALWAYS gets back to me the same day, and she gives me her honest opinion. At first, I felt her emails were generic, but the more we communicated, I realized she likes to be very clear and accurate. I'm booking a Breast Lift, Lipo, TT, and BBL. My first Surgery will be in December 13 2017 and I think I'll go again in April 2018 for whatever doesn't get done in December.
My surgery date is booked and yes, I'm looking for a sx (surgery) buddy lol. I plan on staying in DR for 14 days post surgery. I'll return to ATL when I know and feel like I'm in the clear. I may have to be away from my son during Christmas, because they don't allow children at the recovery house, but I'm trying to work something out.
I plan on vlogging this whole experience. I had lipo before, and the doctor, experience, and results were bad. I paid $8500 and still had a gut. Like a real gut, not the pouch that could still look good with a with a monokini... I had the gut like my swimsuit had to be a dress. Like, it looked like my ab muscles was showing my fat who's boss, by flexing its muscles covered in fat, and my fat tried to run to my hooha, but it hit a dead end at the C-section scar. So now it hangs like it lost all will to live.
Just like everyone else, I want to be snatched. I lost 50lbs. I went from 240 to 190 pounds since that surgery because I was tired of being the fattest person in the room. I was trying my best to get out of the 200's. I just wanted to look good out in public and feel better about myself. Now that I'm 190, I feel great when I go out. But it's still not ???? Now, I want to look good naked. I went to DR for my 30th birthday Sept. 2016, and I didn't feel 100% comfortable on the beach. Babe claims he likes me just the way I am, but I don't like the way I look and that's all that matters.
Dr. Tania requires a $500 deposit via money gram. For those who think $500 is too much money, you may not be ready for cosmetic surgery. There are a lot of costs, including flights, revisions, and unforeseen medical expenses that may arise. So if you're crying about $500, you may need to focus on saving your coins. I paid half of my SX via western union (there isn't a money gram near me). I'll pay the rest of my surgery along with the other fees, two days prior to my surgery.
I am now drafting a list of what I should bring to DR. must haves & nice to haves. If you guys have any ideas or comments, I respond to almost everything.
