Although I made a couple consults on line at Real Self, I never received a response, So I called Dr Chen's office and made appointment. During our call the receptionist told me some papers would be mailed to me, but I never received them. When I got to the office, the receptionist asked if I went on line to fill out the forms, needless o say, I was clueless about the forms. I was surprised they asked for my insurance card, since this is considered cosmetic and won't be paid for through the insurance. Anyhoo, I gave her the card and she said it's just for the records and then proceeded to ask for a $90 consultation fee. I guess she could see the shock because she asked me again. Finally I replied that on Real Self.com the consults were said to be free. She said "oh, thanks for telling me that. lol Within 5 minutes I met with Dr Chen, I found him very personable and didnt recognize him from his picture on RS...in fact I thought it could be his son. I actually felt comfortable standing in front of him talking in the nude. I was looking for a Mommy Makeover but he suggested a 2 part procedure. The first to be a Circumferential Abdominoplasty with butock flap, Vaser SAL (lipo) of anterior, medial, later thighs. I was excited yet scared. I really didnt want a scar completely around my entire body. The next sx would be Mastopexy w/fat grafting and a medial thigh lift. He admitted the sx's would take more time under anesthesia than he''d like so that is the reason for 2. I was excited and couldn't wait for the bottom line...money!
I met with Sharon for the fee schedule, she was nice and confirmed Dr Chen is the best for the job. She was not able to get the costs from the hospital right away so would send them later. I was disappointed because the tummy tuck was my main reason for doing all this. Anyway she gave me a quote on the Breast and thigh lift of $12,850 that cost also includes anesthesia and doing it at the facility. Later i received an email from Sharon. She was apologetic for the wait, which i could appreciate and the fee for The circumferential tt w lipo to thighs, hospital stay and anesthesia is $16,105.48. Wow guys I'm in the wrong profession! So we're talking 30 grand for a brand new me. I know I'm worth it, but wooo........... I'm gonna continue my search

I had no idea this site was even available and to this day do not remember how i got here, but I am SO glad I did. For my whole life I was overweight, but about 8 years ago,I had a breast reduction and 2 yrs later gastric, in that order. I've lost over 85 pounds and that left me with saggy baggy skin. I'd like to have a Mommy Makeover. My major concern is my tummy. I am expecting to have a teeny waistline with a flat stomach that means having a tummy tuck, lipo to flanks, sides, inner thighs, bbl and breast implants for some fullness. So I reached out to Dr. Disla in DR because I love her results. I like what I saw on her website and even her credentials. She was quick to respond by email and I found her prices extremely reasonable. She quoted me 2 quotes stating people with major weight loss bleed a lot during surgery and there was concern over hemoglobin levels. If she was not able to perform everything at once the cost for TT , lipo, and bbl $5500 and for breast lift and augmentation extra $1500. Although I love her work and stalk this site, I have more research to do. I have a feeling I'll be sticking with my first love. lol
