I have been on RS for a few months now and I have to say thus far this site are been so valuable to me. I have been able to narrow down doctors based on every ones overall experience with certain doctors.

I am 80% sure at this point I will be going to Disla. My best friend is a month post op and is looking great. No only that she expressed how much care she has for her patients. Planning my sx 2015.

Dr Baez is apparently great. My friend went to her for a tt and bbl and looks great. do you know if woman wake up during surgery in the DR? i keep hearing this and its freaking me out

My BF went to Disla she didn't wake up really. However she said a few girls had that experience. From what i have been told your under like a twilight rather than a hardcore general anastegia. I have only had one surgery and I under twilight but it knocked me out cold, im not too worried. I dont think u can feel anything though. At least u shouldnt.

I'm taking my mom with me. She is a nurse and fluent in spanah. My husband can't go so it's a condition of my surgery. Lol he is afraid for me to go alone. Right now my date is 10/29 - 11/10 sx date is 11/30. Keep me posted on when you are going and maybe we can meet up. I'm staying at Virginia del a paz rh.

Oh cool. Thanks! And I'll have to look into that RH. I really don't want to stay with a bunch of other wounded women lol I know that sounds mean but it's true. I didn't do a RH on my first round because I had a buddy and we just rented a condo and hired a nurse and cook.

No it doesn't sound mean at all. I feel the same way. My friend went to Armonia and she didn't care for it for that reason alone. I'm quiet when I'm in pain. I like to be at peace, plus it's better for healing in my opinion. I may have to push back my date, so keep me posted if you stay De La Paz maybe we can meet up. I looked into a condo, but since I'm paying for everything it wasnt economical for me.

We should consider trying to find a condo to rent and maybe one other girl to go in with. It’s so inexpensive when you can spilt it two or three ways. A RH is going to be $90 a day regardless but when you can split approx. $140 a day (for everything BUT massages) it becomes far more reasonable. That’s why I was looking for a buddy or two.

Well I was suppose to get my surgery in 2014 but with much consideration and many discussions with my husband we decided to wait until the end of this year. I'm happy I did because I was able to do more research and become super comfortable with my decision to go to DR to get my surgery. I have read TONS of reviews both good and bad about traveling abroad for surgery. Since I'm a person who is a skeptic by nature either side effected me tremendously. I'm draw by the facts I find and one big thing I noticed that people don't talk that much about the people who had complications , infections or died in the US. Period for me it researched my doctors, my risks, pros and cons of surgery in both places and I'm confident in the care I will receive in DR.

I will say that one big thing women or anyone for that matter need to realize although the use the term "cosmetic or plastic" surgery it's MAJOR surgery and it does cause your body to go through a certain level of trauma, this isn't a decision you should take lightly or hastily. It really should be well researched and carefully thought out.

I got my quote from Disla in 2014 I had some issues which made me have to postpone my surgery . My quote was I believe 5000 for TT, BBL, Lipo, and BL w/o implants. But didn't include RH or post-op meds etc. I'm paid less that 4K if i'm not mistaken. BTW my friend wasn't plus size and she has a petite frame, her results were amazing. I have been researching like crazy and I lean to Medina and Almonte at this point in the next month I will be locking in my date for Nov. 2015. I have decided to rent an apartment since I'm taking my mom who is a nurse. I found two driver massage packages one for $500 and the other $450. Since I'm paying for my mothers travel and expense this makes more sense. Plus paying for an RH having my over protective mother with would have been a waste of money. She don't let no one take care of her baby. LOL
