*mixed emotions kick in* Will anyone have surgery that week? My RH of choice is Rocio Ortega and I have the date confirmed as well. My hemo has been creeping back up and is sitting at 12.7 currently. I will continue to drink my Liquid Iron and vitamins to make sure it's where it needs to be on 7/20. I'm really trying to avoid the "famous blood transfusion" I am constantly seeing.

I had labs done yesterday. My hemo is back to 12.7. I guess it's not that bad but it's a bit discouraging to see it go back down after already being at 13. I have been taking my iron packets daily and eating iron rich foods, HOWEVER, I drink coffee everyday and that may be working against me. :-/

My original doctor of choice was Duran but 10 or 15 attempts of trying to get a quote was enough for me. Dr. Mejia was referred by a friend who has been to him for 2 rounds. I also met a co-worker who had sx by him several months ago and loved his care. So far my experience has only been with his assistant Lefny and I have no complaints thus far. Luis Mejia has performed surgeries on 2 dolls that I know and they have been greatly pleased thus far. From their reviews and all the others I have read he truly cares about your health primarily. Lefny Morobel, his assistant, is an amazing individual. She has been there to guide me and answers every question that comes to mind ( a lot) in a timely matter. Lefny has been a great aide so far and made sure my hemo was improving before I purchased my flight. I don't know what to feel at this point... 74 days to go!
