I was a bit skeptical about getting surgery in the dominican republic.. At first i went for a quote in NY but i wasnt convinced.. A friend recommended three doctors in the dominican republic and asked me to send my pictures and see what their reccomendation would be... I got my quote from Dr. Lopez Collado and it just felt right! I headed to DR on sunday and i scheduled the surgery for tuesday morning.. I met with the Doctor on monday morning just so he can answer some questions and concerns i had.. He was very thorough and listened to everything i had to say... Then i headed to do my labs on and tuesday morning headed into surgery.. I was scared! I hate surgery but everyone was soooo nice .. From the nurses to the anesthesiologist to everyone who works at his office.. Very professional!!

Welcome to the community and thanks so much for offering your opinion of your doctor.It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.As a community manager, I get requests all the time from other members who want me to to keep encouraging people to share their experiences, which are so helpful for others considering these procedures. I noticed some of these reviews are fake. One girl who was getting plastic surgery in the Dominican Republic said she was getting surgery on January 30, 2015. Then she told another person who said she was thinking of going to the DR for surgery that she was having it in March, then she told another person she was having surgery in June. She was recommending a specific “recovery center” and she couldn’t write proper English. I am not sure how to stop this or slow it down but hopefully RealSelf can track some of these false reviews.

Did u do the bbl and tuck at the same time? Is recovery harder

yes I did.. it wasnt that bad. I had a c-section. so the pain was minimal for me. the doctor also provided a prescription medication for the pain which helped a lot.
