Hello real life I am less then 3 months on my count down to my surgery date! I am going to the Dominican Republic to have my plastic surgery done. I am very excited and also filled with losts of anxiety and nervousness all in one, but honesty who wouldn't be when it comes to surgery in general. There is so mixed emotions with my family about me going be I am OK with the decision I have made I mean I have been a mother since I was 17 and have thought about this for year's. I am getting full body liposuction with bbl and Breast implants!

Hi Ruby,
Thanks for sharing! Can you tell me what your quote is? I'm looking at pretty much same procedures as you. Thanks :)

My quote is roughly around 4,200 including all surgical procedures and medicines I will need after. That quote does not include airfare or hotel stay. I am going with a companion so we are staying at Hotel boutique.

Best wishes to you! I've been a mom since I was 15 so I know the feeling. I feel like I have yet to grow into my womanly body. My day will come soon enough. How much is it going to cost you ?

Hey sweetie. Congrats on your upcoming surgery. You will get to your goal weight. Just eat carbs only once a day and don't eat beef at night. If you have a snack do it before 5pm and only have ONE a day. I follow this now and it allows me to still eat what I want and not deprive myself but also eating healthy. Like if I chose a carb it would be a small portion and I would choose either to eat it for; breakfast, lunch or dinner. When I ate the carb I drank water only. But when I didn't i drinked unsweetened tea or light lemonade and had a small sise cup. Hope this helps.

Is there a reason you're wearing it turned around that way? Just wondering if it something I should do. I have a new one coming in the mail tomorrow. Lol

Actually its just made that way for more support, and doesn't cut into your shoulder's like some of the other ones got it off eBay FYI by fare the most comfortable one I have bout several , like the fact it covers my thighs. Its was around 35 dollars and it has a opening for bathroom use! Its a large and I am 5'5/5'6 round 185 I am built wide so it was hard getting over my hips but once I did it was smooth sailing Lol:)
February 18, 2016
Oh okay. How is the compression? Is it really tight in the waist? I'm hoping my garment is much tighter than the one I have now. I still have a lot of swelling, but I'm hoping my waist goes down at least 3 inches.
User Avatar

Yes it feels really constricted but not cutting off your circulation types, I got one from Walmart for 20 that is well constricted but no opening for bathroom use and thigh area in length was like boy Short', and got a plain night wasted one from Amazon that is nice for like 25. But hoping the one I get right after surgery Weill work out too.

Did you just have surgery?
February 19, 2016
No, but I still wear my compression garment. Lol. My surgery was November 10, 2015 (tt, muscle repair, lipo of flanks, full back and upper stomach and fat grafted to hips only). I then got a seroma and had to have surgery again at 5 weeks to drain and scrape it. So I'm about 13 weeks po from my first surgery and 8 weeks po from my 2nd. I still have a lot of swelling and I don't like the feeling I have when I don't wear my garment and am not compressed. Also, I'm just now getting over the fear of developing another seroma after my 2nd surgery. I think I was completely out of the woods at 6 weeks after my second surgery, but like I said, when I've tried not to wear my garment I don't like the feeling and I also swell a lot. My doctor did an excellent job though and I love my results even now. I know it's only going to get better. I know you'll love yours too!

True I can understand wjy you would feel more comfortable in your garment, glad you love your results that everything went well for you. After all we do put our life in some one else's hands. I am excited but stir crazy a little too. Got my hemoglobin levels check and there at a 14 which is great!
February 19, 2016
Yay! I see a lot of people have problems with getting their hemo up. I know you're so happy you don't have to worry about that. But it's true that you are putting your life in someone else's hands. I think it is very important that you choose a doctor that you trust and know will take care of you if a problem arises. I got really depressed and scared after I found out I need to get my seroma surgically removed. I started asking myself why in the world I did this to myself. Although I questioned why I did it to myself because it meant I wouldn't heal as soon as I wanted, but I've never questioned my choice in doctors or his skills in making me better. I knew he would do what was best for me and I would eventually get the results I want. O think that is very important because cosmetic surgery can take a toll on you emotionally even if you don't have complications.

Do you have any pictures of your results, did you have mini TT or full!
February 20, 2016
I had a full TT. I have a small frame (was 5'7, 115 lbs, and narrow hips when I had my first child). My first baby weighed 9lbs13ozs and they took my 2nd early because they new he was going to be big and he still weighed 9lb6ozs. Both were by c-section, so I was skinny fat. Wearing clothes people thought I was skinny and didn't need surgery. It's just when you see me naked, I stop sucking my stomach in, and remove the Spanx that the truth came out. lol. I did horrible about keeping a picture record. I only took pics when I was worried about something and wanted to text it to my doctor. I do have my preop pic the doctor took. I'll take one and
Message you to send it.

OK I totally understand :) I have been 115 since I was 16 Lol! I got ridiculously wide during pregnancy, like from 130 oo 225
February 20, 2016
I totally understand. I went from 115 to 205 pounds when I was 9 months pregnant. It was all belly though. I was weird because from the back I looked skinny, but from the front or side I looked like I was carrying 10 babies. Lol. I've never gone back to 125 since having children and don't want to. I was way too skinny. 140 looks healthy on me.
