Where to begin? I’m a young mother to three amazing boys ages 5,4, and 2.5 soon to be 3 in September! Fun fact about this is when September rolls along my boys will be back to back ages 5,4, and 3 until December comes along. Anyhow, I’ve always dreamt about doing a tummy tuck or a mommy makeover, just to rid of myself of the unpleasant and obnoxious stomach I was left with after having my first son, where I immediately encountered another pregnancy with my second child only two months’ post-partum, so one can only imagine the stress and trauma I caused on my body and my abdominal by being pregnant basically for 20 months straight!, soon after that 10.5 months after my second child here I come again with my third pregnancy. There was absolutely no turning back for me after this one, there was no way to get my stomach back in shape, I dedicated myself to eat as healthy as possible, and even got a trainer, went to the gym consistently, and although I can feel my muscles there was no way to get rid my abdomen of its loosened and stretched out skin. This journey just had me irritated and depressed, however thankfully my husband and I decided that if in fact I can find a trustworthy doctor with the right credentials then I can get the surgery of my dreams. So here I am I have references of doctors who some of my fellow peers have done plastic surgery with, however when it came to my most imperative question “what are your credential? “there would be complete silence, no one would get back to me with reassurance of their qualifications and this alarmed me extremely, okay granted everyone I know has made it back safe however I rather not take my chances on someone who doesn’t take the time to prove to me that they are indeed reputable individuals and that I can actually trust them with putting my life in their hands… And it must have been through lots of prayer that I stumbled upon
Dr. Ricardo Ventura, through some personal research I did on plastic surgeons via internet, and so I requested more information and the sweetest most amazing and attentive assistant reached out to me Eddiliz and I can tell you there was no turning back. She was so informative, on all of Dr. Venturas qualifications where he’s studied, how many surgeries he’s done without any complications (I believe the number is over 800 WOW), she mentioned how he still attends conferences to keep himself updated on the latest techniques and treatments for patients, so at this point I’m not sure what won me over the most him being an active surgeon, and being board certified, or how helpful his assistant Eddiliz was. I must of called or text her a thousand times with a million different question and concern, and she would always without a doubt get back to me with an answer, she made me feel safe and comfortable with this uncertain process that can be extremely dangerous and intimidating when feeling like you going in with blinders. So after a month of being in contact with her every single day, I was comfortable enough to set the date for May.17th 2017. And best decision I made, I got to Dominican Republic thankfully I have family there, so they could take me to my consultation which was in the hospital Corazones Unidos where Dr. Ventura practices, I met him and although our meeting was brief, he was still able to reassure me that I’ve made the right decision, his aura was confident and calming, and when I asked the only real question that was the most crucial “I just want to get back home to my kids safely” without a doubt he was able to look me in my eyes and guarantee my safety, the entire time I was worry free, which is crazy but with a lot of prayer and the best doctor and best assistant I made it through surgery like a champ and I’m home healing, and healthy and feeling more confident then ever thank to Dr. ventura. And I can still reach them every single day at any hour and they always get back to me, supportive, responsible, caring, helpful and concerned individuals. I wouldn’t change my experience for any other doctor or assistant, truly feel blessed by God to have led me to this team. A million Thank you’s to them both xoxoxox
