One Year
$3,999
I'm only two weeks out from the one year mark, so it's pretty clear this is the end. I consider this to be a failure. I don't look drastically different from the before and after. If they would have showed the picture before and after picture below to someone not a single customer would do the procedure. What's worse is I wasn't using any rogiane before, and I wonder if maybe the transplant was a 100% failure and the only regrowth I got was from starting that again.
No one in their right mind would pay money and go through that psychological torture to look like this one year later. Now that it's over with I have to admit I felt suicidal at times, especially in the beginning. I looked so bad and to not even be able to walk outside without a hat for months and wonder if I'd ever be a normal person again was almost too much to bear. You see pictures online where after 7 days you can't even tell they had a procedure, I figured those were the most optimistic cases, maybe for me it'd be a three weeks. After two months it really began to take a toll, and the fact I voluntarily did this to myself made it even worse. I'm not sure what to do anymore, my whole goal was to finish this insecurity I've had basically my entire adult life and nothing is new. The only way to fix it is to get a new transplant and repeat this whole process all over again, which of course I'd be insane to do. Even if I wanted to I only have enough for another procedure and spending three on a small crown area doesn't make sense and limits my future. I'm truly depressed. I get there are people with real problems like growing up in a war torn country or cancer and in hindsight I'm fortunate. But I just wanted to feel normal, I actually haven't swam in a pool for a decade because the back of my head stands out and I was super insecure about it. I felt after this I might be able to feel confident and be myself. Just go outside without any second thoughts, but all I did is lose money, gain extreme anxiety and stress and cover my head in scars.

I am going to be operated for my first time so I need your orientation, please!
Just make sure they have lots of experience with the crown and don't let techs do the extraction.
Do you know a good crown surgeon in Santo Domingo and what do you consider best individual FUE or a combined FUT FUE for covering the crown? ?????
Obviously from my experience I don't know one.
I'd also make sure they explain what your results will look like, so that in 10 months they aren't tell you you're fine or to wait another 3 months etc and giving you the run around.
Do you think I can find expert or good FUE surgeon in Santo Domingo ?????
I mean good crown surgeons in Santo Domingo ??????
Not Santo Domingo, but I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Luis Nader in Mexico.
He performed both of my FUE and am very happy with this doctor, hands down.

I got an email with a reply from S7S7S7 but cannot find it on this page...
I am NOT a paid advertiser from Dr. Nader, I write a positive review when I have one and a negative one as well if needed.
You can go and review my page with the pics and my review.
Just look around posts about Dr. Nader, whether you believe me or not at all, he is legit and would always recommend him without hesitation.

10 Months Update
Here's a 10 month post op. I see Artas wrote to have a dry pic. This one is in between, I just came from a work out so it's in the middle. Supposedly some magic will happen in the next 60 days. I'm required to write 200 characters but don't know what else to say....

9 Months Post Op
Here's my 9 months post op. Pretty depressing. I talked to another hair surgeon via phone and texted him photos. He said that after 9 months I won't see much difference than this. It's not really all that different from my preop photo. When I contacted them they said they would ask the doctor and get back to me. They never did, but the fact that they said they would ask meant they realized there was something wrong. Otherwise if it was completely normal at this stage they wouldn't need to get a second opinion. Truly depressed.

In all honesty, I personally think it looks better than before and actually the area looks good overall.
If it barely looks better than before how can it look good? It's basically the same. I'm not sure what will happen in the next three months so all I can do is wait, but no reasonable person would pay thousands of dollars and use 2,000 grafts to have a result that people have to struggle to find improvement.
I think so and even more with a 9 crown HT which takes long to grow, 12 month and more they say
Some people have slower growth than others, you may be surprised in a few more months, maybe not but that is a possibility.
At one point I thought about that doctor, in fact I had a consultation with Dr. Reyes a few years ago (2015??) and she offered me FUT perhaps because she was not into FUE yet.
But decided to go to Mexico for both of my FUE, the last one being in June last year.
Great doctor that I'd highly recommend any time of the day.
2,000 follicles is what I got in the last FUE, and while it helps a bit with the top area, I know this is not going to show me full coverage but basically help the area a bit.

Thanks for your post, I sure hope so. It's just the first time I don't remember any strange delays. I suppose 3 months is still significant though!
a lot of doctor says that the crown still improving after 12-16 months! wait 3 more months!
Yes, thats it
by the way, put a dry hair pic to compare!!
May you need a little bit more density
I know it sucked having to wait that long for lackluster results, but your best bet would be not to jump into anything too soon whether it’s another transplant, SMP, etc. If you haven’t already tried it, perhaps hair fibers can help the appearance?
Hang in there, S7. Don’t give up on your hair or beat yourself up too much. You made one poor decision, but you were in an incredibly vulnerable position. Who could blame you? Anyone that is a hair loss sufferer can relate.
