Hello everyone,
I've been struggling with my weight since I had my kids. I had 2 previous liposuction, lost some weight and gained it right back. My weight had me depressed, I didn't want to go out and to make matters worse, my cholesterol was very high. I tried once again to have another lipo, traveled to The Dominican Republic in April, because that was the only way I knew to loose weight. When I got to DR for my procedure, I was dissapointed when the cardiologist and nutritionist I was forced to see didn't approve my procedure. I was told my BMI was over 35 and I was at high risk patient. They told me I had to loose 30 pounds in order for them to do my lipo.
The nutritionist suggested bariatric surgery, that's when I found out I was a candidate. Well, I came back to the states and started doing some research. I was lucky enough to come across Dr. Pablo Garcia. I read his reviews and immediately called his office to get more information. Dr Garcia was not in his office at the time, so his lovely secretary gave me his cell number and I sent him a message through whatssup. Dr. Garcia immediately responded, I asked a few questions and asked him if I can speak to him over the phone which he responded yes! I called him right away and explained what had happened to me. I remember asking him how safe was the surgery and he told me, very safe, I had it done on Friday and I was with him on the phone on Monday!!! I knew right then that I wanted Dr. Garcia to be my surgeon and yes I made the best decision of my life!
The moment I arrived in DR, Dr. Garcia sent me for tests that I didn't even knew existed. He makes sure you're 100% ok to go to surgery. After all the testings were done he sat with me and explained the procedure, but I was more interested in my life after surgery. The day of surgery, I was very excited, I was finally going to be slim!!!
Well, Dr. Garcia staff were very professional and friendly, I felt welcomed.
I went into the operating room and before I knew, I had passed out. When I woke up I was a little uncomfortable and gassy, but no pain!
The same day of the procedure, Dr. Garcia came to see me and made me get off my bed and go for slow walk on the hallway.
I was discharged the following afternoon, Dr. Garcia told me to go see him and the nutricionist in a week. The first couple of days you don't get hungry at all, but you do crave for things. These are the hardest days, because you need to fight with your eyes and brain. You can't let your mind control your body.
10 days after surgery I came back home very happy, during my first week I had lost 10 pounds!!!
You need to follow Dr Garcia's instructions and also the nutritionist to be successful. A month after surgery you need to go to the gym to make sure you see 100% of results. If you don't go to the gym, your skin will get very saggy.
Today, 4 months after my surgery and 54 pounds off my body, I can tell you without regrets that I made the best decision of my life! My cholesterol is normal, I work out 5 days per week and I feel sexy. Now I want to go out and show off thanks to Dr. Pablo Garcia!
