Dr. Cabral review. I got there on May 7 by Gianna Colombo. The next day we went to the office. Met with Cabral first. He said what he want to do was a scar revision, bbl., arm lift. I asked how long it would take heal. He days 10 days and not to extend my hand over my head. I was going to remove the implants and I was told that I should remove them in Canada as I did not have a lot of breast tissue. It will not look good.
I want leg lipo. He said no as my skin would sag. He advised that he could do a arm lift and would give me and arm lift. Everything for $5000. I would also extend my TT scar with some lipo. Now what I should have done was insist on full ab lipo and back regardless of excess skin. My surgery would have been first but I needed a breathing treatment so surgery was first thing the next morning.
Did all my testing where the xray dude remembered me. We had a good laugh.
Next morning he came in...took pictures. I took the blue pill and was very loopy. I remembered being moved from front to back. I just remembered praying vigorously. I went in around 9:00 and woke up at 10:30. I was awake for the rest of surgery which meant i felt the arm lift totally and I was crying saying I felt it i also felt like skin burning. At the end of it all around 1:30 p.m.i was wheeled to a recovery room for about half hour and back to my room where my nurse took care of me. I remembered my ass feeling like a brick.Recovery was hell. I would not move nothing including my arms. My nurse Comfort...of man...words could not describe how happy I was to see her. She took such good care of me. I wish I staying for longer and drained more.but Gianna Colombo gave me great massage.Now coming back I am 4 weeks post op. I am not sold on the arm lift. It is smaller for sure but there are indentations and my actual skin looks weird.I have doggy ears by the scar. But maybe that is something that will heal with time. My but has several pockets of seroma and that has to be drained. If it cannot be drained I need a drain put in. If that does not work i need another surgery to remove the actual pocket. I have to go three times a week. The doctor said he never seen anything like this and he has done over 500 cases...this was not in a good way. I have had three ambulance calls and 4 emergency visits and numerous hospital visits.I am on the fence but I know it does take time so I reserve my judgement for later.I keep asking him for my pics but until now he has not sent them....is this deja vu all over again.I am officially done with Dr and surgeries down there. I guess ,maybe I am not lucky and should stop while I am ahead. You ladies know that I am here for you but I have seen to much death and complication to put myself through another round. I have lost too much including friendship. To me that is not worth it.Remember at CIPLA you sign a waiver that resolves the doctor of all malpractice and negligence. You give them the right to post your pictures on their sites. Get that waiver interpreted. KNOW what you are signing. DISCUSS the risks with your doctor. It is great to be excited but that is NOT enough. Do not accept [RS bleep] advise as well. Dolls I want you to be safe. As well and I STRESS...IF you are overweight be careful the chances are higher for death, blood clots etc. Wait, get healthy so that once you to through all of this hell you will have the tools to be ale to maintain your results. He is very caring and nice. I should have asked more questions. The only thing i did not like was that others were working on me in surgery. That should have been explained to me.
