Okay so I feel like life has been kinda hating on me lately. I planned on using care credit to pay for my SX. So i'm all over this plan to pay off some extra debts and then get approved and go from there. GE capital is familiar with me and they would be like sure B! We can let you get that hook up from Dr. Duran. After all we want you to be Duran Doll just as bad as you do!!

So my plan is working I can see the finish line approaching and BAMMM!! wouldn't you know out of no where I get slammed. The IMA Battery in my 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid is dying....are you kidding me! That's a 4000 dollar replacement! I am so sad. Return to start, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars. That fully depletes my emergency fund of 2000 and the remainder will have to go on the CC's I just so faithfully paid off!

I did call Honda of America and there financing department is supposed to call me back on Monday and let me know if they can offer some assistance. I am outside of the warranty coverage on mileage but not years. So everyone cross your fingers and wish me luck. If I can at least get help on half I can come back with a vengeance and still get this done early next year. If not, I have another 365 days to go...yes yes patience is a virtue blah blah all that good crap. I may make an exception and go no later than May..ugh

On a good note though, I have gotten my physical moved up to the 14th of OCT! Yay me. They were talking December at first and I was like excuse me? Then the nurse looked at my file and realized I hadn't had a physical since 2011 and kindly bumped me up to next week. I am by no means a hypochondriac. I don't go to the doctor unless something isn't right and I need a for real second opinion. I guess that paid off. I am going to let them know I plan on having surgery and ask them to check my levels and prescribe something for me if my levels are low...which there is no doubt in my mind that they will be.

I remember taking prenatal vitamins and them having like everything in them. I wonder if i should just start taking those again. Has anyone done that?

I have been doing some research on Arnica and plan on taking the pills along with the gel. The Gel absorbs easily and isn't sticky or greasy. It should help with any external bruising that I will have. The pills increase circulation from the inside and this should help get that vitamin rich blood to the incision sites and speed up healing. Arnica can be purchased from GNC or online at a better price from a variety of places.

On a side note, If you have already paid your deposit and need to move your SX date is that possible? I want to pay my deposit but am nervous that i may have to move my date if things don't mesh well...Let me know!!!

okay so it has been quite awhile and I have to apologize for that. My life just all of a sudden got crazy busy and didnt let up for about two months.Heck it still is!

I was finally able to send Dr. Duran my pics via Facebook I was quoted 3800. Unfortunately I cant find the original email she sent me with all the details of how long I need to stay and where etc. She told me to contact the office to set a date. I still want to go early next year, no later than March so we will see.

I am going to try and get a few days off of work so that I can get a full physical and blood work done. I don't want any surprises next year, especially if I can start working now to correct the problem. Low iron is a blip to try and correct and most doctors aren't willing to perform a procedure on you if you have it unless you are willing to get a blood transfusion etc. I guess my work is cut out for me.

Are there any ladies who have decided to finance your procedure? How did it go? Also, I have been hearing good things about Arnica Gel. Have any of you used it and what was your experience regarding it?

Okay so i emailed Dr. Duran and included my photos. Three times! Ugghh stupid photos would not go through no matter what i did...my heart is so hurt. So in the end i just gave up and emailed her my text. Maybe i can send her photos through facebook or something later. Is there another way to contact her? I really want to join her group so i can link up with some of you ladies going around the same time. Thanks to MadamEm i think that i may find an apartment to stay in and have a nurse come. I will have my husband with me so i will at least have some support. There are some really good deals on apartments in the DR. As promised i am uploading my photos and the body i would like to have after Dr. Duran performs a miracle on me next to it lol... Now i know i am not going to look exactly like those photos immediately post op. But once i am fully healed and i start hitting that gym its on and popping ladies TTYL!
