Healing has really been successful. Sorry I haven't updated as promised but these 10 hour work days make it hard to maintain my blog. I posted some updated photos.

Jose came to pick my husband and I up around 6am. I later learned that it didn't do any good to get to Cipla that early as Cabral doesn't come into his office til 9am or later but, I was able to get my labs, xrays and heart clearance taken care of before he got there. There were lots of girls at the clinic wanting to be first in line for their designated doctor. We all sat around chatting about why we chose the particular doctor we each were going with for sx, what we wanted and why. Most of the girls in the office were from east coast states (i.e., NY, NJ, NC). Myself and one other girl were from the south. Cabral's girls (I didn't met Maria, not sure if she was on vacation or not) spoke very little English. They made sure to charge me for EVERYTHING (Cabral is definitely a la carte) but failed to provide me with the blood work form I needed in order for the lab tech to know what to test for. So, I had to run back up to the 5th floor to obtain this form which in my mind put me further behind. It really didn't. At the elevator is where I got to chat with Treena Jackson for the very first time. She was from MJ and was there for round 2. We sad a few friendly words and I jumped on the elevator to get my lab request form. When I came back down I was the only one left in the clinic. The lab tech was pretty friendly but also spoke very little English. From there I went to see the cardiologist. He was very friendly and of course he didn't speak much English so we chatted via Google translate. He ran an EKG and sent me on my way. Cabral definitely has the penthouse suite. It is the cream of the crop office. Shortly after I completed my pre lab work. I returned upstairs where I then consulted with King Cabral. I brought him a Dallas Cowboy mug (Everybody loves the cowboys) and quickly began to show him photos of what I did and did NOT want. He looked and listed patiently and then off came the clothes. Cabral examined me and then advised me that he could fulfill my wishes of a better body. Because my hemo somehow dropped to 12.1 and my BMI was higher than normal, I wasn't able to get my inner thighs lipo'd. That would have to wait. Cabral charged me a little more that what he originally quoted but I quickly coughed up his funds as I knew he was worth every penny.
A few minutes later I was escorted downstairs where my husband and I were taken to what would be my recovery room. Somewhere prior to all of this I completed several forms and saw a very pretty female doctor who weighed me and went over my labs (please forgive my memory lapse). I was wearing pink shellac nail polish and was advised that I would need to remove it from my fore finger so that the operating room machine could monitor my vitals. I had no clue on how to remove my freshly done manicure. Someone grabbed some nail polish remover and began to try to remove my polish. To no avail as shellac has to be removed with a combination of acetone and foil. One of the nurses was able to remove the polish by running her long natural nails underneath the polish. A nurse came into my recovery room with my surgery gown and blue pill. It wasn't long after that I was in la la land. The only thing I remember from surgery is the pressure of the epedurial (boy did that hurt) and some pressure when my armpits were being lipo'd. I do believe I was actually snoring on the table. When I woke up Dr. Cabral and my FB friend were standing over me. I then realized I had made it to the other side. Thank God. This entire time I had gum in my mouth and began chewing it as they rolled me into my recovery room. I had all the energy in the world. I wanted to get up and walk around. The nurses were not having that. My husband and I chatted about the sx before I feel off to sleep.
