Surgery Awaits - Dominican Republic, DO

Ok Dolls I know you guys have been waiting to hear from me and my results and as painful as this has been to write this #1 I will not be disappointed at the same time I have to inform you guys. Ok so I touched down in DR on Sunday The 29. My friend and her sister was there to pick me up. They took me around to see the sites had good food and her sister kindly welcomed me into her home. We woke up Monday 30 got ready and made our way to Cipla which is literally 6min away from her beautiful home. We arrived at 6:50 am. This place is nice and clean ladies, at this point I was really at ease. So moving forward I met with staff who was Very Nice especially Samira who speaks fluent English, I knew I was in great care another peacefully moment for me. I also met a realself Yily Doll who was having sx as well and it was great, we was gonna share a room at the clinic and we was staying at the same RH so we was gonna be very supportive with each other and my friend was gonna stay with us in the clinic room to make sure we was taking care of, this was great as well. They did an EKG (great), X-ray (great), blood (not so great). My damn hemoglobin was 10.8 and it should have been at least a 12 for surgery. When Yily assistant told me I just couldn't believe it because I had gone to my dr. And it was at 11.5 which was a month ago and since then I have been taking my iron vitamin B all the things recommended including wheat grass to help my stay regular. To my dismay bc I was mixing my pills and not taking them seperately (half hour) apart this is how the count could have dropped as per the assistant. I can believe that totally! So Yily assistant tells me I have a few options. 1 a blood transfusion that would bring my count up (Hell no that was not an option of mine) 2. For the next 5 days have a nurse come by the RH and inject me with the iron, but I still run the risk of possibly needing a transfusion 3. Make another appointment build up my count again at home, keep my deposit down for the next time or 4. take a portion of the deposit and don't do anything. Well of course I went with option # 3. I felt that #2 I didnt have enough time planned here in DR. I met with DR Yily who is not only beautiful but she was very very nice. She greated me with a hug and kiss and she also felt I made the right decision and thanked me for being understanding because she told me some horror stories. I felt great at first a lil sad but she gave me comfort also I received the proper evaluation. Come to find out I would have need a TT. She said due to my excess skin in the stomach area I would never been satisfied with just the results from the lipo she says I would have to get a TT for the best results. Well Dolls with all the money spent I just didn't incorporate a budget for an extra $800. That's when it dawned on me that was the reason that I believe things didn't work out, I would have spent all this money and not have been satisfied when now what I can do is save up just a little more and get the results I so long for. So whatndidi I do after that I packed up my bags and me and my girlfriend are in Punta Cana as I update this review. I'm not gonna front I was a lil disappointed at first but it was all for the best. Of course the staff and Yily gave me home remedies to try but my girlfriend will be making me a daily iron drink to send me well on my way, so mentally I in a good place. I plan to return feb 2014, I know some might think that's a lil too late but it was best with work schedule and my son school schedule. I will keep you guys posted on my hemo levels. Oh and by the way there was a male doll there as well getting sx on his breast removal of fat tissue and lipo. Some men will suffer for beauty as well. All I know is next time even if my girlfriend doesn't come with me I now know the process and know what to do, no my trip wasn't a waste,this is the first visit for me to DR and Punta Cana is a trip I had planned for next year. I look at it this way Punta Cana this year and my new body next year before my 41 birthday in March! Mentally I'm in a good place!

It's official and I'm definitely omw now just boarded the plane, my big day is tomorrow. My girlfriend is already in DR visiting her family and will be picking me up from the airport. As the time grows near I have the jitter bugs but I'm prayed up and believe and have faith in my God. My friend checked out the Clinic where Yily is and gave it the stamp of approval she also checked out wilsons recovery house I will be staying in and also gave a good stamp of approval. So I'm well omw..I will keep you guys posted as to how everything went. Yily is pregnant but she emailed me to let me know this by no means will effect her in any negative way she assured me that although she's pregnant I'm still in good hands...until then dolls I will be talking with ya

Well I have 9 days left until I'm on my flight to DR and 10 days until sx. I'm excited yet a little worried at this point because 1 I hear Yily may be pregnant and I'm happy for her but I'm wondering will that effect her performance. And 2 my girlfriend who's coming with me called me this morning to say that her cousin calle her from DR and informed her a clinic was shut down in DR due to patients getting sick he wanted to know the name of the clinic I'm getting my sx and the address so they can check into it for me! Well thank God for the help! Now I'm just waiting for a call back from my friend to see what's up. I know you might be saying email Yily and ask questions, and I did but getting a reply back from Yily in a timely matter is almost impossible because she's a very busy woman. I've also been calling but no answer yet. I'm praying for the best!
