I'm officially a Duran Doll!!!

This was in Dra. Duran's office 5 days post op, my first follow up I was very swollen.

OK so where do I start, I flew out to DR on the 13th of January. Because I was staying in a apartment before going to clipa for pre-op testing I had to go to a supermarket to be food, water, and other essentials. For those who are thinking about renting a apartment instead of staying in a RH keep in mind that you will be spending money on food and a cook. By the time I was done I was pretty much too late for the testing so I just told my driver to be back at the apartment at 6:30am. I believe I arrived at the clinic at 7:15, let me tell you ladies the pre-op testing was a hassle at that time. There are so many ladies trying to come the same day to have surgery so they try to get their pre-op testing done. So I pretty much was waiting forever to do my testing. Good thing was that Duran was having her assistants tell them that she has too many people. I believe that day it was only three of us going into surgery but she takes her time. So when I first walked into the office I gave Elizabeth my name then she gave me a paper to do my blood test. I had to go back downstairs in the lab room for them to draw my blood. I then went back upstairs to wait to do my EKG which is done in her office. I was then called for my consultation with Duran. I told her what I wanted she marked me then I had to go back downstairs for my x-ray. Once all my testing was done I had to wait for another doctor which asks you questions about your medical past, they weigh you, take your height, and take your blood pressure. Once all that was done I was finally taken upstairs to wait for a room. By this time it was about 11:45. So I finally got my room and they had me change into the blue dressing. 20 minutes or so later a nurse came in gave me the blue pill to take. So I'm thinking OK they should come in 30 minutes or so. No! They guy came in 5 minutes later and I'm saying out loud the pill didn't kick in yet omg. Sigh so I had to hop on the gurney which is narrow as heck. Once I was in the OR I was still wide awake and it was freezing. I started to get scared because I'm wondering WHY AM I STILL UP! The anesthesiologist came in to give me a iv and we talked a little. I then told him I don't want to be awake. He said oh no don't worry your body will be here but your mind will be like gone. He had a syringe in his hand and said this stuff will make you feel woooooo. Soon as he injected my iv with whatever that was I was gonnnnneeeee!!! Once I woke up I realized I was already in my room and I was freezing but of course that was from the anesthesia wearing off. Everbody pain level is different but for me that night was hell. It felt like I got hit by a freight truck and my booty was throbbing. Duran came in to check on me a little while later asked how I was feeling. I told her I felt very tired and when could I turn around. She told me in two hours I could lay on my stomach. I counted down those two hours because I maybe slept 30 minutes waiting to turn that's how much pain I was in. Throughout the night I barely slept. Ok ladies I had my surgery and everything turned out ok. I apologize I haven't updated you guys but recovery was very difficult for me. I really needed to concentrate on getting better because it was emotional draining for me. I give you guys a full review in a bit xoxo.
