In recent light of the death that just occurred I am deeply saddened. Anytime someone loses their life it is a tragedy. I pray for strength for the young ladies family and hope that they can move forward in life as it is not easy. I had my surgery with Dr. Calva on 3/9 (that thurs) and I never once felt as if I was in bad hands. From beginning to end he was very attentive, loving, caring, educated and up front with what to expect. I immediately knew I was more than just dollars to him I felt as if I actually mattered. He treated me with respect & dignity. Listened to my very concern as I was nervous like most pre op. He went through my medical history with a fine comb pen as I suffered previously with thyroid issues and made sure I was cleared by my pcp & endo. I hate that this happened but ladies this is a risk we choose to take when under going sx. I feel blessed beyond measure because I am no better than the lady who lost her life. I am no different it could have been me ! But God moves how He moves . I had a talk with my God yesterday to thank Him for Grace & Mercy because it truly brought me through. My humblest deepest apologies to that ladies family. And my heart goes out to Calva as well because I know for a fact he loves his patients. I only wish this situation the Best and I ask ppl not to Judge my doctor until you've been proven to. I ask God for Strength for both parties of this situation. There are many reasons things can get complicated in sx, and tbh we don't know what the details are. Be blessed.

When I tell you Idk how I would have survived with out Claudia and her lovely staff!! Ladies she is the truth!! I stayed for 3 days and felt like a baby being taken care of. The food was on time as scheduled everyday and delicious. She has anything you need (faja, foam, lipo board, socks) for purchase. Her RH was very positive the energy was so great. You can tell she does this from the heart and not the pockets. The place is discreet, but totally worth me choosing her. She is well educated on private care and was at my beck and call whenever I needed help. Her Caretakers were really sweet. Just make sure you download google translate as Spanish is their native language but I had no problems communicating at all. Omg I recommend her a Thousand Times !! If I ever get sx again I definitely know where I'm staying. She's like a Goddess to Recovery Care

Here's my post op pic after !! At first I was kinda upset that I was switched to Calva from Hassan but God knew what he was doing. This man is so loving and caring about his patients I felt like I actually mattered and wasn't just a number. Trust me I've seen some other docs who were very nasty to their clients. Nope not Dr. Calva he gives you hugs and does what's best for you as a patient. Not once did I feel uncomfortable, or uneasy. Of course I was nervous going in especially since my heart rate had increased a little because of jitters. He explained everything before procedure, came and checked on me after it was done as well. The anesthesiologist was very caring as well make sure your honest about your health history for your own sake. The people at ERES were good to me as well staff was very helpful and accommodating but like mama said "you get more bees with honey" so be nice have a good attitude. Here's my pic
