Hello ladies,Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Millie and this is my first time on RealSelf. I figure I take a chance and post this message in hopes that one of you ladies can and will relate and as such would consider being my travel buddy. I've always been a happy and cheerful person but the past few years have grown more and more uncomfortable with myself. I hate what I see in the mirror and although I'm over weight, I've realized that the parts of me that I find repulsive no amount of weight lose can change. I've had other health related surgeries that have left one side of my stomach bigger than the other, which isn't a big deal to most but unless you're me, you'll never really understand. I recently started my research and have been thinking of doing smart liposuction of my lower and upper abdominal, waist, bra fat, mini tummy tuck and a Brazilian butt lift with ($12,401) Dr. Mehta in Brunswick, NJ. However, upon being introduce to RealSelf and doing a bit of research on here have reached out to several Doctor's, Doctora Yily included. After reading review after review, something about her didn't sit well. Finally, I came across ($2,900) Dra. Australia Fragoso Baez and my gut feeling is saying, she's the one! She responded promptly to my email and so far has answered all my questions, not once making me feel like I am bothering her. The question now remains, is anyone else on a similar journey? And if so, would you be willing in sharing your with me? I'm not in the pursuit of perfection. I'm just trying to have who I am on the inside match with how I should look like on the outside. Vein? Perhaps, but honest.The truth is, I'm afraid but it's either be afraid for the rest of my life or take a chance. And I'm the "take a chance" kinda of person. I've done enough living with regrets. I have a beautiful son and a wonderful man by my side, so this, this thing I'm convinced I need to do is strictly for me. Now, has anyone used or is considering, or knows of anyone who has used any of the doctor's that I've mentioned? LOL

I'm finally scheduled for surgery with Dra. Baez. However, I haven't decided on where to stay. Any suggestions? I'm bringing a friend alone for comfort and support but we are not oppose to rooming with a third person. The more, the merrier. I am having a brazilian butt lift, Liposuction of the waist, abdominal, sides, back, bra area and depending on my in person consultation with her, perhaps, a mini tummy tuck. I am confident that she can give me the results I am looking for. If anyone has had surgery with Dra. Baez I would really appreciate it if you could share your story with me. It would help me put my mind at ease. Don't get me wrong, I am super excited but I am also very scared. Can anyone recommend what to bring along for my trip? I will be in Dominican Republic from August 9th until August 24th, 2014 in case anyone cares to join my friend and I. Happy healing all!!!

Today I officially reserved my surgery date. I was having issues wiring my deposit online but Dra. Baez was very understanding and agreed to reserve my date without one. However, it didn't sit well with me and so today I went to wire the deposit in person from the my bank. Afterwards, I went to do a little shopping.
